In the Land of Agathen, the largest of all five on the continent of Frahan, Sophia Dilamor is a young child faced with tragedy, which forces her to overcome a great deal of trauma. Raised by her awkward and estranged grandfather, woodcutter Bill, Sophia grows to become a young woman who possesses great knowledge in medicine that, in the future, will be as much of a blessing as it will be a curse.

Soon after her twentieth birthday, the Land of Agathen will have to prepare for another threat. She’ll be forced to face another drastic change in her life and ends up meeting the young Commander Ren VonGehall, next in line to become the Duke of Northern Delmaer. Injured after a difficult mission. Both healing from scars of their own.
