In my opinion the original series did humans very poorly they didn't really display how the average humans view on dragons only a few extreme outliers, I didn't really feel the determination to survive it despair over their situation.
This book does then very well, makeing us feel bad about their situation especially with the dragon pov's mixed in. This book also didn't just glance over the first contact and how it makes dragons feel, and showing how they think about scavengers that aren't just one lines of: yes they exist, or maybe there is more to them, oh well.
Over all 9.5 in my opinion very well done, but needs some more chapters to develop

This is actual peak, and I can only hope that the author is well and we'll get to se e a continuation of this. Hopes and dreams out of the real peeps making good stories still in 2025. I hate that I read things so quickly, but I'll make sure to reread it again here soon until I see something new pop up

Been reading it on the other sites. I enjoy how the characters don’t just magically know each others language, making it seem more believable. I also love how they haven’t talk with the main characters at this point. I feel this is really realistic and also means that I can enjoy the story more because I’m not thinking about if the characters are being written like the books
i I find the story good. I think if done right it has lots of potential
I find that the characters are well written with more than one motive like some characters in other fiction.
Overall I don’t think that I have seen many grammar mistakes
this is a great story that anybody who likes wings of fire or dragons should read. Love that you barely need the knowledge of wings of fire at the moment

I like how everything comes together in a nice end point and it has nice ups and downs to go with it. I found the characters and action enjoyable and hope that there is more to come in the future. Until then I found this a very entertaining one to read.

    Nearly perfect grammar
    High quality story
Somehow very fun human and dragon characters
The language learning between the three parties is incredibly interesting too
So far, the series is the best thing I could find on here and is incredible in every aspect, from technological to fantasy style. I would recommend this book to really anyone, though especially people who have read wings of fire or enjoy the fantasy military aspect.

Its a very well done take on the IOST/isekai genre with good grammar, little to no typos and a good pacing. This is definitely a cut above the usual publications on this site and I would wholeheartedly recommend giving this a read for at least a few chapters.
The story reminds me of the Destroyermen series where instead of a single destroyer, here, a whole convoy is transported.
If you liked Destroyermen, you'll definitely like this and if you liked this I would recommend the Destroyermen series.

Very interesting story with a little too much pov. I would have preferred a few long scenes or pov's to be deleted but these are my only complaints. Or more dragonssssss instead. Besides that? Great. I read the whole thing in one go. Now I don't know whether to regret it or not since the story is not finished.

A convoy of ships become lost in a storm and end up somewhere they never would have expected. It is a classic tale, the one I'm personally familiar with is the film "The Final Countdown" where a Nuclear powered aircraft carrier is sent back in time before Pearl Harbor.
It takes a true madman to combine the concept with Wings of Fire fan fiction - but get this - it actually works!
I think the story is a compelling read. The author has set up several 3 dimensional characters that are sure to go through quite the journey together.
Your enjoyment of the story will be increased if you are familiar with Tui T. Sutherland's original works.
I did find myself racing past the prose dedicated to describing character's travels from point A to point B, racing to get to the good stuff, of which there is plenty. There are several sections of, in my opinion, excessive detail over minutiae that contributes little to the story at large.
I'm subtracting half a star for grammar and spelling errors - though its easy enough to derive what the author was trying to say from the surrounding context.
The only serious shortcoming of this fiction is that there is not enough of it. It's really good stuff.

EDIT: When making this review I did not know that this was fanfiction of the wings of fire series (I need to read the tags more often). I did not know until a friend said otherwise and would not have connected the dots by myself. I would say that to any readers that you do not need to know any prior knowledge of the books to be able to keep up and enjoy this story.
Everything below is my original review.
This is one of the most unique story premises that I have seen on this site. I absolutely have enjoyed what I have read so far and will be recommending it to a friend of mine.
It has multiple pov's to allow for different looks into the different factions and the general mindset.
There are a few grammatical errors but that is expected and its too early for me to talk about characters, but everything looks promising
I currently like how everything flows in the chapters with some parts being reports of events shown to us to give an accurate time of events as it is something not done often.
Also the world that the story is set in has some very interesting implications to it.
The dragons also seem very interesting so far and I like how their structure and how they seem to act with this new and sudden weapon that can kill them with ease is just so good, and I currently like the relationship between dragons and humans in this world. It is familiar to what a lot of fictions do but at the same time of the twist with the WW2 weaponry so far adds some interesting scenarios that I hope to see in this story.
I would say 8.5/10 and its only because it's early in the story and hasn't had time to build upon the current elements that has been put out there. Would recommend.
