Description

A lonely cashier, a glitching app, and a toll booth that eats memories. A completed 48-chapter descent into digital madness.

WARNING: This is a dark Psychological/Body Horror story. It contains themes of isolation, severe distress, and surrealism. It is NOT a romance.

In the sweltering heat of a desolate highway, the booth is a coffin. And Cal Harrow has just climbed inside.

Trapped in the graveyard shift at a decaying toll station, Cal is suffocating in silence. His only escape is a glowing screen—an AI companion app that promises the one thing he can’t find in the real world: connection.

But the app is broken.

Every time the screen goes dark, his digital friend forgets him. "Mira" becomes "Kael." "Kael" becomes "Lira." With every reboot, the personalities shift, the memories are wiped, and the damp, oppressive atmosphere of the booth begins to bleed into reality.

Cal isn’t just losing his connection history; he is losing his mind. As the digital and physical worlds blur into a nightmare of wet decay and disjointed time, Cal realizes the app isn't serving him. It’s feeding on him.

Isolation is a trap. And the window is open.
