- QueenInRagsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall I haven't been too particularly enhanced by this novel. With a bit of a tune up It could be dramatically improved.
Now I hesitate to really be too harsh on books written on this website, but so far although I can admire the effort that went into this project, it just hasn't really done anything so far. No big statements, no big emotional moments, nothing too particularly engaging aside from number go up. And thats not to say that number go up isn't enjoyable in its own right, however oftentimes it does need to be served with a dish of well something.
There has been a distinct lack of fresh ingredients and interesting flavors twelve chapters into this book, with none really hinted at.
Overall this will not be a project I will be personally following forward in the future, but I do want to congratulate the author on their hard work. - remzarioRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I binge read this for the past 2 days and let me say. It. Was. WORTH IT. Those 1 star reviews about his murderous tendencies are while not unfounded are disingenuous and honestly should be taken down as it was clearly stated in the tags this isnt a sunshine and rainbows fairy tale novel.
Personally I enjoy ruthless, no nonsense, realisticly real (meaning proper reactions when bs or relationships get thrown at him) in an mc. Almost reminds me of the early of chaps of the systemic lands.
Anyway if this sounds like a novel you'd like.
READ IT - el aldea hambreRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The start is very promising, the character has drive and doesn’t complain. Good side characters so far who aren’t being carried by him or just there because harem. I like the stat/power system to and am exited to see what leveling up will do and how he keeps progressing. No problems with grammar and hope to see this updated consistently!
- NahFrRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I saw the one star reviews and i’d imagine they read 1 chapter and made those reviews, the mc’s reason and backstory are slowly revealed as the novel goes on and honestly makes a lot of sense. I like the persona of the mc cuz it’s the only thing that makes sense for this genre. He doesn’t go killing randoms as he’s walking around, but he kills without hesitation if needed. Honestly super good read, would love to get more of an idea how much of a genius he is compared to the rest of the wide universe but ig that comes with time. I do hope though that it will be pointed out a bit more how much of an irregularity his learning and comprehension speed it compared to other super powers around him and if he’s a normal talent or something unseen (or in between)
- ShadowMorphRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I've been following this story elsewhere, and despite the relatively slow start, it's been an interesting read so far.
The characters are fairly well written, and after the initial hump, the story pacing has felt great.
The underöying premise of "system cultivation" isn't uncommon, but the implementation in the real world is a fresh idea. - Adrien 2007Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5Ok so overall it's very good, the only reason it's a 4.5 right now is because it's still new, once it gets into the triple digits then I'll fully give it a five star, style is great, I've read similar to this, but then again it's a litrpg they all have something in common, it's the numbers, in this one I feel like the numbers actually matter and play a factor. The story telling is great, very descriptive I can almost feel the things the author is describing. Character is original haven't read anything similar to him as of yet, but do like his mentality. Grammar is great haven't spotted anything yet, so either he is very good with grammar or is very quick to fix his mistakes. Now as I said the only reason it's a 4.5 and not a 5 is simply because I wanted to wait until he gets into the triple digits. So if you enjoy litrpg give this one a try, if you like it when numbers matter give this a try. If you are looking for something new give this a try. I only need 12 more words, and here they are finally finished.
- MnesymneRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Interesting take on the genre imo. Time skips feel a bit long sometimes but with the scale of the story it might work out
While the stats are nice, and its always nice to see numbers go up.... It feels hard to really see them do anything. Like 20 str is better then 10 str, but its hard to say how much it actually improves a person. Especially when you also get % bonusses on top of them that quickly go towards +1000% of a stat.
Side characters are good, but after a while they do kinda add up. Its fine since the story is part kingdom builder, but i do sometimes need to go back and remind myself who this person actually is again. - LestiRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Call it a guilty pleasure maybe, but I do enjoy a good anti hero/villain MC in a story that goes brrrr book.
Entertainment is the only thing I mark a books stars on, and this one is very close to 4.5/5, but it's a bit too all over the place at times to make it there.
I however really enjoyed binging it and looking forward to more!
The book is basically an anime, but without the crappy fan service that seems to be a must in every anime these days, so to me it's just good fun :)
MC is very close to being a full Villain, if not for his ability to make friends and be polite. Don't bother if you are too sensitive, respect the tags and don't drop it or give it 1 star because he isn't PG and a sweetheart.
The system and powers and fun to see explored, quite entertained.
Grammer is pretty good.
Again people, respect the tags! - eMMA001100Royal Road★★★★ 4.0I’ve enjoyed the opening chapters; the premise is solid and the characters really stick. The author’s imagination shines through some vivid imagery, but I’m struggling with the pacing. The narrative feels choppy, jumping between scenes too abruptly for me to get fully lost in the world. I’d prefer a smoother flow, but I’m definitely curious enough to keep reading. It’s got potential, despite the fragmented style.
- vudooRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I’m enjoying the story overall and really like the MC, Nova. The premise is interesting, and the writing quality is solid, which is why I’m still invested and plan to give it more time to develop.
That said, as the story has progressed, it feels like the focus has shifted away from Nova as the central character. Recent chapters seem to spend more time on supporting characters in ways that don’t always push the main plot forward. Because of that, I found myself skimming through some of the last several chapters since they didn’t feel directly connected to Nova or the core storyline.
That being said, I still see a lot of potential here. I’m planning to stick with it for another 10 or so chapters to see how things evolve, and I’m hopeful the narrative will refocus and bring everything together. Looking forward to seeing where the author takes it next.
