Description
Veruna had a plan. Veruna is dead. Now Wichita must deal with it.
Growing up in Arcana may not have been deadly, but it was brutal. Wichita survived it anyway. Now she finds herself cast forward in time into a forest out to get her. The System stands in her way, restricting her magic and her Skills.
Wichita will survive anyway. There are magics the System cannot bar and she shall learn to wield them. Even if none have done so before. The System may force her to be a Queen in an uninhabited forest, but she will find a way.
A [Forgotten Queen] she might be, but she shall be a Legend anyway.

The underlying "problem" that others complain of ? Welp its the fact that the worldbuilding is rather fast paced and requires a bit of intuition. Personally I'm quite a fan of it. It hits that sweet spot between boring, and all too complex, and embodies the ideas of "fey" magic very well.
On the other hand, I will admit the story might have started off a little toooo into the thick of it, but personally at chapter 30 its really enjoyable.
The main character truly gives off an inhuman strange feel, and there seems to be decent worldbuilding afoot.
Overall Id say this is worth a read ! - gajensenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Story
So far the story is off to an interesting start! It gets straight to the action with a duel. Without going into spoilers, I found the duel to be really intense and I loved the cosmic nature to it. It kind of felt like I was watching a Doctor Strange battle which I enjoyed.
The magic system is also very fleshed out, and I like the unique take you have on it with Hearts. I found that to be visually interesting and I could almost feel it in my own heart by the way you described the battle.
Style
The pacing is solid and you really get a sense of who Wichita is. My only critique is that I could feel a bit lost at times just given there's a lot of lore that I'm unfamiliar with, but perhaps that gets better as the story progresses and the magic and lore is repeated and explained in more depth.
Character
I really like Wichita. I like how she starts off as an underdog in this story with virtually no chance of surviving but then grows in power. Showing her as lowly and humble made me like her instantly.
I wish we could have spent more time with the Queen. I understand the role she played, but I would have liked to know her more to make her actions more resonating emotionally.
Grammar
Grammer is good mostly. Perhaps the most common mistake is the "Says something." she said. Besides that, the grammar is very mature and it made Wichita sound sophisticated and introspective.
Overall, you're off to a great start! Proud of what you've written so far. Keep it up :) - Fudge EsqRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I want to start this review by saying I read up until Chapter 9 and have not read the entirety of what's posted. That being said, my review will be focused on the story so far and the author's capacity to detail that story. There are some issues regarding unknown IC terms and not explaining in enough detail where the characters are.
Still, I enjoyed reading about Wichita and her sort of "come to power" moments. Although I'm still confused about where Wichita and co. were portaled at the end of chapter one, the ensuing conflict was still a really fun read.
Style Score: 3/5
As I usually do, I'll start with my lowest score first. The writing is fairly rife with typos and confusing story progression that can make the reader extra lost with the lack of environmental exposition. That along with an excessive use of unexplained IC terms creates moments of serious confusion where I wasn't sure where anyone was.
The story would be infinitely smoother if the author had a third party individual read over the story and note the places they were confused.
I wouldn't say that these issues are book breaking, but they break the immersion fairly often. I found myself rereading chapter 1 a few times to see if the portal destination was explained. I do understand the intent of not revealing everything to keep the reader in suspense, but at leas what the area looked like should have been expanded on other than calling it "the world."
That being said, I really liked the way the dialogue scenes were written and how the author wrote dynamics between characters. I found myself continuing to read despite not having any idea what was actually going on because of the character to character drama.
Story Score: 4/5
I'll be honest, I'm still not sure what the plot is exactly supposed to be. Maybe it's explained later on. Regardless, so far it's been quite a wild ride for Wichita and I guess she has enough trouble surviving everything thrown at her to bother with some overarching thematic or plot - AncientDreamZzRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Even though I've only gone through 4 Chapters so far, the premise of the story seem very promising. There's a good amount of description mix in with the MC's thoughts, it helps break up the paragraphs quite well.
Style
In terms of writing, I saw nothing wrong with the author's style. I find the sentences easy to understand and their word choices brought vivid images to my mind whenever I try to picture the scenes. There's also a mix of humor within some of the serious scenes, although I'm not sure if it's intentional, I find that it also gives some information about the MC's character.
Story
It's only been 4 Chapters so not much has developed yet in terms if the storyline. But so far, the tiny clues and snippets scattered around these few chapters give a nice sense of mystery around what "Age" our MC has been placed in. For once, there's an MC that's been yeeted into the future, not the past.
Grammar
I don't see any mistakes as far as I could tell, so there's nothing much to say here. The author uses consistent grammar.
Character
Since it's only the beginning of the story, I still couldn't fully grasp who Wichita, our main character, is. But so far, she'd shown to be quite calm, although I'm not sure if it's intentional, her inner thoughts told me that she's the type to analyze things instead of needlessly panicking. The scene when she got struck by [Dragon Fear] gave me that feeling.
Overall, I believe that this is a novel with potential, it has an interesting plot and a system that refuses to help our poor Wichita. I'm sure things would pick up in the future chapters. - MinecraftFanaticRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5So far, the story seems promising. I'd love to see where this goes; the synopsis was intriguing. While the first chapter didn't provide much in terms of world-building, what it did give was important information.
I'll give this 4.5 stars.
I hope you have a great time writing this story, author! I hope that anyone who reads this has a lot of fun! - CharbendRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Wichita lives in a world of magic, ruled in some capacity by an ever-present and mysterious System. Through some politically driven conflict and magic accidents, she finds herself thrust far into the future, and must navigate life in a new age.
Style
Stylistically, the story is written well. Sentences are easy to understand and flow into each other well.
Story
I think the story has a really interesting concept, a young woman living in a world with a System overseeing everything gets time skipped into a new age. It's a very strong premise, and has a lot of room to grow.
My one complaint with the story so far would be how the pre-time skip was handled. Having read through the time skip, I can understand the first few chapters as context for what the main content of the story is. It's the story of someone having to navigate a new time in the world, not the story of Wichita dealing with the political machinations of her age-- but! those political machinations are what led her here, so it's important to know that. Personally, I think that context lingered a bit longer than it needed to. After the time skip, we know about as much of the world as Wichita does. Before the time skip, however, it's obvious that there is a lot going on that Wichita knows about, which we just don't have the context for. Getting through 3 chapters of context for the main story when we don't have context for the context itself was a bit of a stumbling block for me. If it were condensed or omitted and revealed in pieces as we go, I think that could have helped the pacing for me.
Nevertheless, the story has a strong premise to build off of, and reading a bit extra to get there isn't so bad =)
Grammar
No glaring issues with grammar!
Character
At the point I read to, there are only a few characters to judge so far, Wichita being the most prominent of them. I would say that the characterization of Wichita is done well, we get a sense of how she views the world and those around her pretty readily. It w - Ystol's_DecreeRoyal Road★ 1.0I'm not sure how anyone came to the conclusion that this is a five star book, I literally was confused as soon as I started reading, then proceeded to confuse you more as nothing is explained. I don't even know or understand the MC, I have no clue about who she is as a person, what she went through, & if she died before and came back? she was speaking of events that seem to happen before, but like I said we have no clue of what happened... Is this a continuation of some other book? The grammar is great, the world building is non-existent most of the time I didn't even know where she was , not enough details in the surroundings.
