I absolutely love the way the mirror is described in Chapter 5. It captures a sense of familiarity while simultaneously feeling foreign to the characters, creating an intriguing feeling. The story starts off a little rough but I’m curious to see where it goes from here.
Style:
The descriptions in the first chapter felt a bit overdone and pulled me out of the immersion at times. However, from chapter 2 onward, the writing strengthens significantly, though there are still occasional tense shifts that can be smoothed out.
Characters:
Minho stands out as the most well-developed character so far, and it seems likely that she plays a central role in the plot.
The initial introduction of multiple characters was somewhat confusing, but as I progressed through the chapters, it became easier to follow. The characters are starting to gain more depth as the story unfolds, which is great to see.
Grammar & Vocabulary:
I didn’t notice any major grammar issues, which is always a plus. There was some repetition across paragraphs, but it wasn’t enough to detract from the overall reading experience.
