Wayward Rose

At heart,Wayward Roseis a story about a young woman who is forced to flee her home and who falls in love with two different men who protect her along the way. It's important to establish that heart first becauseWayward Rosecan also be described as an adult furry sci-fantasy adventure set in post-apocalyptic ancient Rome.

Four hundred years earlier, the Star fell during the reign of Princess Sabina's forebear, the great Augustus Caesar, scorching the planet, sinking continents, and corrupting what people survived. Even more, it left behind powerful relics that grant their wielders near divine powers even as they inflict fatal curses with their lethal radiance. Sabina finds her guardians exotic because the people of Italia are almost universally unchanged humans, and her first protector is a jackal and the second a shark. Together they must weather everything Sabina's imperial father can bring to bear against them—the New Roman Empire's own enforcers, crazed cultists armed with lethal relics, giant monsters born of the cursed radiance of the Star Itself—all while figuring out what they are to each other.

While generally lighthearted in tone,Wayward Rosedoes contain scenes that may be uncomfortable or unsuitable for some readers. The story includes occasional strong language, both male and female nudity, consensual sex acts—both male/female and male/male—that are not depicted on the page, and instances of violence, death, racism, sexual prejudice, and forced outing. Please know your limits as you enjoy your time in the post-Astral world.
