- AbeJonesRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This was a very engaging story. It was engaging from the very first chapter and kept the tension going. Too often web novel authors over emphasize their 'systems', basically making the entire plot revolve around a mcguffin. In this story the main character does not know what is going on. All he knows is that he is having strange dreams and that the area around his home is no longer safe. His internal conflict is both understandable and relatable. When I was a teenager I too had very strange dreams due to a health condition.
i especially enjoyed the glimpses of the various worlds. It showed just enough for the reader to really imagine freely yet still kept the air of mystery.
My one critique is that there were several places where words were simply missing. It broke the immersion as I had to mentally replace the word before continuing.
