Wall Core: [A Core Lit-rpg]

Description
(A rather late update on the hiatus: I got stunlocked by the sudden ability to present my ideas to an audience, side-tracked by a cover-art-making frenzy, went through on-and-off periods of writing and burnout, side-tracked again by my 472 other hobbies suddenly getting the hyperfocus treatment, and overall have been overwhelmed in all the worst ways for me specifically to be overwhelmed. To top that all off, I now believe Wall Core to be out of date to my current writing ability, so I'm certain I'll end up rewriting the thing too. I really would have liked to at least gotten the entire beginning story arc out in its entirety before this mess, but alas, the hiatus will almost certainly continue to be in effect.)
The Kitsumari Empire, strongest civilization of the mountainous Kha Lands, is on the brink of destruction. With only a few months to the next Beast Tide, the grand court sorceress comes up with a genius plan of action; building a wall and making a Core pay for it!
Wall Core is a take on dungeon core and kingdom building stories, but instead of building underground or spread out, our titular core is made to go wide and high, to prepare for the horde of monsters on the way. Will our protagonist live through the first tide? Will there be substantial amounts of bloodshed!? Will a literal wall manage to date someone?!? Only time (and plot convenience) will tell!
I likely won't be able to update this frequently, but I'm going to try Fridays.
I hope you enjoy!

- Quinn VoidheartRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I haven't seen this combination yet and that's what helps makes this story great. I am super excited to see where it goes. It has good grammar and a good handle on world-building. The multiple povs are good, and each one is distinct from the others. I wonder how it is going to deal with the problems that lay both inside and outside it's walls.
