As of 2025, this series is dropped. I appreciate all of you who have read and gave me kind comments throughout the years. I will at least post the remaining chapters that I've done for this project.‘A ship is a female after all!’ The man, now known as Abyssal thought to herself.

This is the story of a man who woke up one day and realised that he became a ship. A broken ship that's stranded in space with a skeleton as a captain, but nevertheless a ship!

Now, S.A.S Abyssal (Self Aware Ship Abyssal) roamed space freely, wanting to find her purpose in this endless void. Along the way, she upgraded herself, found other Living Cores such as herself, got herself a maid, got into a dogfight, went space mining, upgraded herself further, steered through a minefield, encountered a supernova and even found genetically engineered catgirls!

Also, it turned out that there was some sort of crazed bounty hunter out for her blood! But wait there was more! She also somehow got herself involved in an intergalactic space war!

‘Wait wait wait! What the hell is this?! What am I supposed to do now!?’

Disclaimer: This is a casual release so expect the quality to be slightly less and chapter-length to be shorter than my other series(on Scribblehub).

I will try to release 2 chapters a week for this story(Wed and Sun), but no promises as I am concentrating fully on my other stories.

Also, I do not have a degree in literature nor a PHD in space-related stuff, so do forgive me if I make a few mistakes here and there!

I loved reading this the first time I read thro it and to then rate it I had to read thro it again after making an account. LOVED IT the second time aswell so I hope you can return with the continuation of this story so we can find out what will happen to Abyssal.
By the time Abyssal is a battlecruiser on the verge of becoming a Battleship that she finds E (already forgot her name. The BIG CARRIER that gets rammed) and is reunited with a friend for a little while before helping them in a battle to take out the person/core that is in control of the battleship that rammed her in the battle behind the planet with the dying star where after the core/person is destroyed/killed. The carrier (big E in space basically) and Abyssal then dock with eachother and have a nice catch up on what has been going on in their lives (oh and at this point it's well known that Abyssal is a core so the crew of SuperSpaceShip Big E tries to capture Abyssal only to be shot down instantly by SuperSpaceShip Big E (figurativly not literally) where after that happened aboard Big E, Abyssal is afraid but forgives them and says that they have an Ally in her and that if they ever need help with something and they meet her she would help out as best as she can however that she carries the final word if she wants to help or not. With this said it's just what i wish would happen and me speculating on what might happen later after this is resumed since I really love this book.
With that said I love the MC's airheadness and stupidity in this book as it perfectly sets the mood of how she wakes up and now she has to think alot of how she is going to deal with the situations she puts herself in, so she has to put her faith in her two friends the cat person and her Maid Core friend and work together with them to over come what obsticles they face.
I'm terrible at writing reviews I just wanted to say that this is one good book that I really enjoyed reading while I was traveling back and forth from school on

Some stuff is a little far fetched - like the importance of people the mc meets, but overall a fun space story.
Also the mc isn't an AI, @LittleCreepy. Not exactly - and she is split between the part that would be considered a typical AI, and the emotive, living part.

I like the story, but it can at times be a hard read.
To get the most important thing out of the way first: The MC is stupid. Abysmally so. (Get the pun?) If this isn’t your cup of tea, you should reconsider reading this. She is flighty in the brain in the best of circumstances.
It took her for example a year to find her useless nanobots, all the while searching her systems with a fine-tooth comb.
She is constantly surprised by her own ability´s, which often manifest out of nowhere to give her a solution to her problems. As an AI I would expect her to be more conscious of what she can and can´t do. If well explained it wouldn’t be so bad, but the Autor writes about her as if she had planned things all along?
She is uncreative with the tools given to her. Instead of leveraging her very, very limited production capabilities to repair things at least provisionally, she instead relies on pure luck to stumble upon parts literally blindly, as she flies space without functioning cameras to search for objects of interest.
The things she needs constantly get handed to her, instead of working for them. If she, for instance, had repaired her outer cameras and searched and found the destroyer, it would have been much more believable. The way she got her com was weird as well. As is, it just doesn’t feel earned.
We also constantly hear how the MC loves space flight, but she has literally no knowledge about the field she could leverage in her situation.
Then there is the “supporting cast”.
She finds a discarded and looted military vessel and plugs a foreign, random AI into her second robot, that somehow has a perfect connection port for the thing.
Shame she can´t talk with her, as she can´t connect her to the ship’s speakers. So, every question has to be answerable by “Yes”, “No” and “Maybe”. And while it is indeed tedious to get any kind of information that way, I would spend every waking moment with her, if my other options include staring into empty space, or more excitedly, s

Premise originally not too bad, but spoiled as MC makes this a waste of time. Seeing 4-5 star rating for this makes me laugh. Only read this if you enjoy reading about an mC that is way more stupid than any normal adult that you know. Personally I prefer MCs that are smart enough to find their way out of a paper bag.
