Description
Will likes his job as a tester for virtual reality mmorpgs. When that job leads him to being kidnapped by a morally questionable corporation and forced to play while pumped full of experimental drugs, he likes his job a lot less.
Victoria Online follows Will as he tries to survive gangs, undead, and eldritch abominations in a virtual version of alternate history 1840s London.

- Ad LadRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Phenomenally good. Not a fan of virtual reality novels in general but this one is the exception that proves the rule.
I absolutely love it despite their only being nine chapters in total and I would definitely like to see more.
Keep up the good work! - AlsoJohnRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I got to vol 1 a couple of years late and read it all avidly. A surprisingly nuanced blend of gamelit and litrpg with real world consequences for winning or losing a Regency Urban Horror game. Mature players, plenty of action, and the plot twists and turns in surprising but we'll thought out fashion. This has something for everyone except a quick, shall5 read
- Mr_BlobmanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Story itself is great, very interesting setting, definitely one of the better stories on this site. It's impressive as well that the author is sticking it out to the end even after long hiatuses. Would recommend trying out as its well written as well with good grammar and no spelling mistakes that I noticed in the most recent chapter.
- TumiltyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Absolutely fantastic so far, will the mc ever improve his armor? Also he should upgrade the armory and first aid contacts. Maybe some base building and/or recruiting more people. I love the work so far, it took a few chapters to hit your stride, but by god you hit it good. Keep up the good work
- gaius maximusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story deal with the MC who trapped in a virtual reality. He have to survive this game like others who trapped in it. Everything about this novel is so good. You won't find a novel like this anywhere, there is crime, investigation, church, gangs. What is MC investigating and how he will escape virtual world?
- MapRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It’s a fun ride so far. Keep up the updates my man. And don’t be afraid to push some content! My reading addiction needs to meet its fix
- LodurrRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I really like the story, great writing and interesting characters. One of my pet peeves with vr stories is that they can continue forever and get quite boring meanwhil, but this story seems to be an exception.
- tarakisRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Blade Briar is a very good writer and BB's story is interesting and engaging, along with enjoyable and suspenseful. The MC is trapped in a VRG during the Victorian era in England with zombies and magic. The characters have good depth to them and are likable and hateable, writing style is very good, grammar and spelling need a bit of work.
Huzzah!! Kudos!! Bravo!!
:D CHEERS (c) - VixshRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The best way I can describe this is, the game is a setting but it's not the story. Which I feel makes this jump leaps and bounds ahead of other stories with a similar setting. Enough stats and numbers for people who enjoy that but doesn't overcrowd in game actions with it so the pacing feels really good.
