Description

After waking up from a serious injury, a young man finds himself in a hospital room, without memories of his past. All he has is a Poké Ball with a Tyrogue named Champ, and the support of the Indigo League. He sets out on a quest to collect eight gym badges, hoping to regain his lost memories along the way. Taking on the name Erembour Lionheart, he encounters challenges and an unknown presence on this journey. Little does he know, the road ahead is filled with trials, and a shadowy figure that could become either friend or foe.

This is my first attempt at writing an ongoing story let alone a fanfiction.Will be updating once a week between Friday to Sunday

The starting premise is a cliche amnesia, but unlike other stories that egg this fact on, the protagonist recovers from it at a decent pace. I believe more could have been done with key memories being sparked through significant story events, but it also seems realistic that even seemingly normal occurrences can cause a flashback.
The protagonist has, in my opinion, been started off with too good of an advantage for reasoning I believe will be revealed later. However, at the moment it's safe to say he has a bit of a lead compared to other trainers through connections.
As for the Pokémon and the subsequent battles, this is nothing short of a treat. They are both enriched with details and don't skip on the darker side how badly things can end if no precautions are taken. Not even the protagonist is exempt from this. It shows that no one can win every fight, as not all fights are the same.
Couple all of this with Pokémon fusion and you have a recipe than will keep me wanting more.
