Unexpected Reincarnation

Description
A mage gets reincarnated after many years of floating around in limbo. Thank god, he's born in another world with magic as well. But eh?
Why's the magic here so weak?
Aren't I stuck here?
Casting magic using wands.... What the hell kind of a low-level world is this?
He has been reincarnated in the world of Harry Potter. Watch... well rather read on as our protagonist, Sol Balor, influence the world of Harry Potter with no knowledge of it.

- Glory SeekerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is my third fanfic on this site and I shall say I enjoyed it quite well. I liked how the author committed to his scenario in spite of the several plausible scenarios suggested in the comments and is still improving on his style by the chapter. Keep up the good work and hope you don't drop this midway.
- jpmonnRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have read much fan fiction and have some reference points to go by. The introduction is snazzy and leads quite well into setting jump. There's some "not-quite fourth wall breaking" moments which are handled quite tastefully. This is not awful and therefore deserves five stars. I recommend it and stand by that recommend ation.
- RananRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So far there are only 9 chapters, but even still I have a feeling this is one many people will want to pay attention to! Great sentence structure and a fantastic way of world-building with the Akashi records as a better way to explain what would otherwise be handwaved by less talented authors! Cant wait to read more!
- The Grey KingRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5In terms if the actual story and plot, it follows a very calm and chilled out series of events. The character is OP and uses it almost always, meaning none of those moments where the OP character gets pushed around.
Lots of the reviews are negative because of this fact, but it is overall not that bad. MC is also very chilled out and sort of plays into the crouching moron trope but doesn't fully step into it.
Simply just a very chilled out and relaxing story to read if you fancy a power fantasy novel. - ChaosseedRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Makes for a great read, it may not be your cup of tea, but for me, these stories are what I breathe. This story is going in the same direction as the book, but the variation is why I am here excited to see what happens.

An Addicted Reader - pewpewcachooRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This has been one of the better fan fiction stories I have read so far. The MC has no idea about the world of Harry Potter and is just doing his own thing. But also kinda helping Harry and his friends in his own way. The writing is good, the grammar is good and I am a few chapters behind because I like to read a bunch of chapters at once.
- KitshaarRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The royal road is not known for its fanfictions except borne of caution like fics generally. The story is good but there are some flaws in it but the author is very responsive to structural criticism so it can be better.
I can see the basic template of most harry potter fanfictions in it which is not good as the more unique the fanfiction is the longer it can be entertaining. ( this bites! By xomaniac is a good example. You can read it on fanfiction.com if you like.)
MC feels a little too much OP which can influence the narrative in a bad way.
While fiction has its flaws it is better than most, the grammar is good as I can't see more than two or things mistakes which are fine.
It is excellent work as a first-timer. I would recommend reading it in your free time if you don't have anything.
For the author:
The character can develop a little more too as he thinks and speculates too much.
Giving access to the room of requirements this early feels wrong as your MC doesn't know about harry potter books as he is from another world altogether. This feels like a work of plot armor.
There are too many coincidences in this story like meeting harry and saving Longbottom.
Saving Neville's parents can affect his personality which will be another thing you should remember. - Nosam StreborRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Dude, you're better at writing than I could be, and getting better every chapter. Sucks about your computer. Maybe a Bluetooth keyboard?
As for the content of the fic: extremely interesting, especially in regards to the after notes and the record. You seem to have a solid understanding of where your main character comes from.
Your characterization could use a little work. The main characters mom not freaking out because of his scars feels very, very odd to me. (It also seems like you just left the scars because you think scars look cool. That's fine.)
Additionally, I don't think this guy is op, but I also think it should have taken him way longer to figure out how to edit spells. If it took him a week of trial and error to figure it out, that's fine, just as long as he didn't do it immediately.
That's all I have to say. Give it a shot, it's alright. It gets better as it goes along.
(Ps, are you ever going to go back and revise and edit? It's fine if not but I'd like to hear your plan) - sir_reads_a_lotRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The idea of a "real mage" in the Harry Potter universe has been explored before, but the idea hasn't been overdone to the point of being tired yet. As such, I find myself mostly enjoying this fiction.
What I really don't like is how unreliable the narrative perspective is. In just ten chapters we have seen: omniscient first person, first person, and a wide variety of third person perspectives. It often isn't even consistent for a single chapter, and the transitions are really jarring. - Hope Bones5Royal Road★★★★ 3.5Overall this seems very light hearted and while the narration may turn some poeple off, its turns into a decent story so far, also its is really nice its not the 4th member of the golden trio type novel a bunch of OCs do. I do wish there was a bit more fleshing out regarding his training but maybe the author is waiting for a flashback since he keeps referancing the scars as maybe some foreshadowing?
