- ZoeyA2023Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Great new cultivation book!
The main character is a little on the dark side, which i love. He is an AI who has been repurposed by his makers for assassination, and from what i can tell, he is quite great at it. Through a series of events, Ren finds himself trasported to another world where cultivation exists and the story follows him as he navigates the new world.
The story is original enough and it has unexpected twists when compared to other cultivation stories i have read. So far, I am having a blast with Turing Cultivation!!! - austinsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I stumbled across this story while trawling through RoyalRoad for something fun to read. The synopsis of Turing Cultivation first caught my attention, so I decided to give it a try, and let me tell you, I'm sure glad I did!
As far as the story goes, it follows the MC (Ren), who is an AI (in a pseudo body) as he goes from the boredom of his everyday life in a distant future version of Earth, to a cultivation world. Like other reviewers have mentioned, he could be considered a villainous character but I personally do not see it that way.
You see, Ren for all intents and purposes, is a robot with an AI embedded within him. He was specially created to infiltrate and kill targets on behalf of his owners. It is no wonder to me why empathy would not be a primary attribute that would have been programmed into his daily function. So I would rather call the MC an anti-hero rather than villainous, but some could argue that is just arguing over semantics.
Even so, I really enjoy the way the author weaves his story, introducing new characters that are complex within themselves. The world he paints feels so vivid, with everyone operating with unique motivations, much like in the real world.
As for grammar, I have no complaints. For the most part the sentence structures are very sound. There are the occasional spelling errors but not enough to distract from the story. All in all, I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys cultivation stories. - official AudioRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm going to give a full review at a later date. But this novel is basically a guy that's an AI or a robot-type AI.
this Ai is cool as fuck by the way, he's funny and an overall interesting character. He isn't dull or acts robotic, he is more like a psychotic person. whose main job is assassination and pleasure.
and somehow he ended up in a cultivation world, where he figured out how to cultivate. and have told you he gets bit///s with ease.
Also, it wasn't hard to read, it was smooth, and it was weird how I could picture what the author wrote, it just shows you how his writing skills are perfect.
spoiler,/////////
he was bored with his old world and the new one is much better, so it sparked a fire in him to discover it and explore what is cultivation and the other aspects of it....
thanks
