My favorite aspect of this fanfic is that it is focused primarily on religion. There is action and drama, but the author's unique perspective and circumstances that she had created for the MC makes the story that much more fascinating!
I've followed this story on another site and was thrilled to see it on here! Miriam is not your typical hero and her rise to Inquisitor is one you should definitely follow! Full of strife and hard decisions, Miriam seeks answers and comfort from the Maker, who may not be so absent after all...

Overall Score: 5 because I'm loving the dark tone of this plot. The MC is not your conventional hero, adding a layer of complexity to the situation. She herself is a tragic figure encountering multiple setbacks, yet her faith is what drives her. I'm looking forward to her growth as a character as we get more into the game narrative.
Style Score: The only reason why I have a 4.5 is because it's AI Assisted over 100% author original. The author is very descriptive with a diverse vocabulary.
Story Score: To date, I give it 5-stars or originally. It definitely has an angsty vibe, but envokes a lot of emotion from you as a reader. There is also a heavy emphasis on the plight of Templars.
Grammar Score: A few errors, but overall well done, earning the author a 4.5.
Character Score: I give this a 5 because the MC is quite different than your run-of-the-mill Herald. Rather than the typical physically strong or magically gifted hero, her strength seems to be in her convictions. With the first twelve chapters being backstory, the characters are more tragic and deeper emotionally than the DAI canon versions of them. The POV alternates between Miriam Trevelyan and Cullen Rutherford. The backstory followes the two of them on their different paths before the converge.

This book requires a few more chapters to be judged
For now it is really good.
Focus on religion is a  subjective approach done by many authors
So I hope the author does well to carry out the plot.
I will change this review after the 20th chapter.
P.S  FOR NOW I WILL STACK UP.
Also give this a try, it will be worthwhile
