First, spoilers are in this whole review, read at your own risk.
This book, overall is amazing, at least to me. Now I need to get the faulty parts of the story out of the way. World building, not that great. I don't have a general idea of where the hell ash is half the time, but I am sure it will improve in the next book, if he dares to grace is with such an opportunity. Second, and finally, I find the paragraphs to be hella long, and incredibly wordy, mostly detailing ash's thoughts. You won't miss much if you skim your eyes over it and get a general read of the situation. Those are my only faults with this novel.

The direction of this story could go any which way, hinting at the potential it has.
    GRAMMAR
This is what I believe is the main thing holding this story back. Not in punctuation, no no, the differences between actions, thoughts, and words. Also stating pov changes. This is what made it so hard for me to read in the first couple of chapters, but once I plowed through, I could see where it shines, really cleaning away the 'trash'. Honestly, that, and cutting down the chapters into bite sized pieces, will do wonders for my enjoyment levels.
    CHARACTER
Ash is a very good main character. Dandy backstory of betrayal, we see his growth an
