Description
Imagine a world, where actions are definitive, story is grounded in abstract logic, and the characters fear not only others, but also themselves. If the Bible, Jojo's Bizzare Adventure, and the opposite of Dragon Ball, had a child and that child said: "I am the Toothfairy," and then Toothfairied all over them.

Overall, the story isn’t bad. I can see potential in it. I want to make it clear that this story is for a very specific audience. For those who aren’t part of the niche, it’s difficult to enjoy as references will be missed and things will feel confusing. The story can be improved while, at the same time, I don’t think I can fully appreciate it with many references flying over my head. If the synopsis catches your eye, it doesn’t hurt to give the story a try.
Style:
The opening doesn’t hook me at all. It seems like a classic start of a character’s backstory followed by an incident commonly seen in Isekai genres. It also doesn’t help that the MC remains pretty passive until the third chapter when things start actually happening. The length of two chapters is a long time and readers may drop the story by then. I definitely recommend getting action started sooner so the reader doesn’t lose interest when they wonder when the action will begin.
There are many references I don’t get and I think those do take away enjoyment of the story. Those missed references likely also affected my understanding of what was happening because, at times, I felt like I had no clue what I just read. Throw in a few rough transitions and I was just lost. Mostly, I feel like I’m not well prepared to piece together the story and that doesn’t make the style bad. It’s just a bad match between me and the story.
Story:
The plot can use some work. Initially, the MC has a life and death which pushes the story along. After that situation got resolved, it feels like there’s no longer urgency. There aren’t any conflicts that’s pushing the MC to take action. It develops into a game situation where the character can take side quests and do other things while the main quest can be revisited later in the story. I have no issue with such an approach if we didn't start off with a life and death situation pushing the plot along.
The pacing feels off due to how we jump between scenes. We begin with
