In a hunter-gatherer tribe, Daysha and her mate, Maisen, though loving and devoted to one another, are barren. When monthly dreams start to haunt Daysha, the search for answers will send the couple farther away than they ever could have imagined. Beyond their encampment, they will learn of vast cities teeming with technological advancement, even those which claim to offer solutions to their infertility. But a greater call compels Daysha onward. Might there be answers in what her people call The Histories? Could an extinct breed of mighty serpents who once swam amongst the stars, be the true answer to her greatest longing?
