Description

The story follows Victoria, the daughter of a duke dethroned by the empire. Forced to flee to the nearest imperial base due to an altercation, she discovers her father is listed as dead in imperial records. Determined to uncover the truth and avenge her family, Victoria sets off to the family manor and learns of the town's werewolf problem. She organizes a mob to exact revenge, but the plan goes horribly wrong and Victoria finds herself imprisoned by the empire.

Offered a choice between a trial she would surely lose or conscription into the military, Victoria chooses the latter and begins a grueling training course. Along the way, she meets a man named Rhys, whose boundless optimism meshes with her biting sarcasm, and they quickly become friends. But as Victoria excels in her training and earns the attention of a powerful minister, she begins to question her friendship with Rhys and the true motives of those in power.

As Victoria is pulled deeper into the empire's inner workings, she discovers a dark plot to overthrow the empire's leader, the Sovereign, and must navigate a web of lies and deceit to uncover the truth and protect those she cares about.

I dont think this story has any flaws.
    Really though. I mean it.
In fact, its kind of like the author is taking you by the hand and guiding you down a cinema of events all full of detail and energy whille still mainting a steady tempo.
    Its neat.
The charachter is given plenty of personality and so is the world. The interactions between those two elements is fun to behold and intresting to read, like a steady pour of some good juice.
One thing though, theres alot of juice. Join me for a while as i continue this cinema anolagy. If this were a movie id say the amount of time the author stays at one place to describe it , would be the moving of the director's lense. This directors pace is kind of 1 speed so far. Dont get me wrong , its a good speed, but Its not yanking me by the pants. Its guiding me through the story. I believe this is this authors style , a smooth detailed style of portraying events with a smooth writing style that seems to deliver mo errors.
All in all, so far, so good.
Therefor I dub this - A Cinema For The Imagination
