Lesbian Omegaverse Harem Isekai LitRPG

If that didn't scare you off, welcome to my weird quasi-LitRPG Isekai about a tremendously nerdy transgender lesbian entering a world where everyone is a woman and two thirds of them have dicks, and herbiggestconcern is not "how do I most optimally enjoy this new paradise I find myself in?" but rather "how quickly can I kickstart the industrial revolution so I get to play with cool machines?"

Join the ADHD dork who named herself Lucifer Morningstar as she finds the answer to this question, along with a big, immediate problem that she can solve with her know-how, andalsoa colorful polycule of friends!

(Fun fact! I wrote the majority of this over the first two weeks of my course of ADHD medication back in October. I was intending for it to be my NaNo/Writathon project, but then I finished the first book.)

The over emphasis on certain improbable anatomical features felt gratuitous and the plot moved faster than I wished it to, both of which held this back from becoming a favorite, nevertheless, in Threads of Industry Horizon has explored a fascinating spin on the intersection of ABO culture, isekai, and trasgenderism. It was well worth my time to read and I came away wishing there had been more.

One of the greatest and funniest love stories of all time.  Short, Sweet, Fun, Emotional.  I felt instantly transported to the side of our Main Character from the get go as if it was me instead of her.
I would love to give this story 12 out of 5 stars and will read a sequel if one is ever published

This story is really underrated. In my opinion, the quick pacing, progressive fantasy elements, and natural dialogue put it up there with the top rated fic on this site. My guess is maybe the subject matter makes the people on this site less willing to engage? Idk, RR is hilariously full of romance-averse people, so that would not surprise me.
On to what I dislike about the story: there's not enough text to support the pacing of the first (main?) relationship, and that makes me nervous. Writing romances believably takes thought and care. You're essentially imagining a whole new set of shared experiences, moments and developing/introducing the relationship dynamic. You have to do a whole build up (or sufficiently set the stage) for a growth in intimacy and affection. Harem stories imo have to craft multiple romance arcs to be believable, so the difficulty is raised. Even worse if it's a polycule.
All that to say: there's a level of relationship building I hoped for when I started reading this, but the story just phoned it in for the very first relationship. A few vignettes of Rachel exasperatedly going along with the antics of our MC do not a romance make. And then all of a sudden they're saying they love each other?? And it wasn't a big moment???? If this is the first relationship, I'm worried about the others bc won't they just be introduced and married in one sentence at this rate? That's a big issue with the story for me, because how are the "mainstream" haremlit ppl beating your ass in the romance writing category, that makes no sense. I'm convinced the author can do much better, in fact I could be persuaded that they're omitting the romance to subvert genre expectations (which would be mean when there's all these other unfun things to subvert, leave the romance in!).
Aside from that I greatly enjoyed the humour, the pacing (there's an art to knowing what to leave out and what to keep in for effective storytelling that doesn't get too bogged down/clunky, and the

And so, the story has ended. I loved the jouney it took, the worldbuilding, the characters, all of it.
I would love to see more of this, but I understand that everything must end at some point.
The semi-LitRPG system is not too encroaching on the story, only coming up a few times. I really like that choice as sometimes LitRPG elements become overwhelming with [brackets] and stat sheets.
Ending feels a bit, I want to say rushed, but at the same time it provides closure for the story and ties up loose threads well.
Looking forward to reading more Nocto!
