In a world where spiritual power determines one's destiny, Rinne is a girl who has been reborn not just once, but twice. In her second life, circumstances forced her down a dark path, leading her to become an evil cultivator. She accumulated immense power and wealth but ultimately paid the highest price when she was surrounded and killed.
However, just as she was about to confront her demise, she regressed, beginning her second life anew. Although her power and riches have vanished, the knowledge she acquired before the regression remains intact.
This time, Rinne just wants to stay hidden.

No We.Want.MORE! - KaraagaRoyal Roadβ β β β β 5.0A nice relaxed cultivation story with a very introverted and over powered protagonist. She is smart and so introverted its funny.
So far at least. Once the main character is really set up, things might pick up a bit.
If you want intense cultivation drama, this is likely not the story for you. - ZaafielRoyal Roadβ β β β β 5.0My only complaint is needs more chaptersπ.
The MC was rebirthed into a Xianxia world, but got screwed with poor spirit roots. She ends up becoming a demonic cultivator and is eventually killed.Β Then she regresses back to her childhood right before she joins a sect. This time she decided to use all her knowledge to fix her spirit roots and follow the Orthodox path. What I love is that she is still metal as hell. - Delectablebooklover8Royal Roadβ β β β β 4.5I just binged and loved Every Second of this story! πππ It's rare to find a Female MC in a cultivation world who isn't overly poisonous, murder hobo-ish (in this life so far), love brained, wishy washy, or weak (second fiddle to the ML who acts more MC-ish than she does...). I like/love how she's taken the experiences from her past life and decided to walk another path while not getting arrogant with her past knowledge or doubling down on the negative experiences from her past life. (Living a more quiet life is hardly a sin.) Her decisiveness, caution, calm thought processes, and wisdom from past lives were interestingly enjoyable to watch/experience while reading. I feel that she's going to grow as both a person And as a cultivator just by reading these few chapters lol. The pacing is good/realistic in that it's not too fast (bullet train to the action scenes) and not too slow (like being stuck behind someone "driving Mrs Daisy"). So I'm really liking where everything is going so far. Aka, the pacing feels more realistically relatable to me. I'm all about magical realism and this story is really starting to click those boxes for me lol. Another bonus to this story is how the characters within feel so well thought out And fleshed out. There doesn't seem to be too many paper tigers or stick figures taking up space within to "help" the story along and. I. LOVE IT!!!!!!! πππππ Her strength of will and steel clad desires for her future are Beautiful to see and I look forward to reading More of this in the future to see where all she goes with it!!! Will she continue to add more spiritual roots as needed so that she won't get found out? Is she going to go into the alchemy &/or herbalist department to better facilitate her goals? How much knowledge will she gather in this life and how will she go about it? Are there any hidden treasures in this world just waiting to be found "early" by her? What kinds of friends & connections will she make along the way as she grows into
- lscashRoyal Roadβ β β β β 4.5Honestly a good start with a 5 star potential, but no far enough to really judge how good it may turn out. A bit to early for me to pass any judgement but leaving this here as encouragement for the author because I'd love to see it continued.
I can't wait to see how it all plays out, I like how it's cultivation but you can tell it isn't really a real light novel so will still have the good characterizations I've come to love about most royal road fics. - dzweigRoyal Roadβ β β β 4.0In a previous life, Rinne was the cultivation equivalent of a super villain.Β Her knowledge was exceptional - because she would trap knowledgeable people, extract that knowledge, and kill them.Β Eventually she was hunted down - and was reborn to begin again - in the kind of poverty and misery that set her on an evil path the first time.Β Only this time she retained her gathered or stolen skills.Β The now-seven-year-old Rinne could use those skills to become even more dangerous.Β Or she could use those skills to rise through legitimate cultivation hierarchies.Β Or she could just not bother.
Rinne's chosen path is somewhere between the second option and the third.Β She seeks admission to a sect which divides successful applicants into inner disciples - promising candidates worth supporting and mentoring - and outer disciples - sink-or-swim candidates who receive benign neglect and access to some teaching.Β She manipulates her application so she is accepted as an outer disciple.
The result is a bit slapstick.Β Rinne slips through the organization's cracks so easily that hardly anyone is aware of her.Β While her age-mates are learning the basics, she is off quietly on her own, brewing exotic medicines and using obscure and advanced techniques.Β As a story, it works surprisingly well, precisely because the protagonist is so advanced and so unnoticed. - RajiroRoyal Roadβ β β 2.5I appreciate the premise of the story and the thought the author has put into this. I definitely see the beginnings of something potentially great here.
However - there is a lot that could be improved mechanically. Dialogue isn't smooth, I find it difficult to picture certain scenes, and the sentence flow feels a little awkward.
And most importantly - whatever the line formatting is, please get rid of it. Don't fill each line. The inconsistent spacing is an absolute user experience and typographical nightmare. It makes it way more difficult to read and follow your writing. - MythicalKeyboardSmithingLvl1Royal Roadβ β 2.0This is my favorite story right now!
I really enjoy the core concept and how it gives us a unique look at a cultivation path in a sect from the lowest rank.
I also enjoy the new life and changing of ways part of the main character.
I am leaving one star off because some of the sentences and dialogue could use some polish, and Iβm hoping when we get better dialogue once the character is forced into more interactions with other people and at that point I might assign it back.
I really hope we get more frequent releases so we can explore more of this great cultivation world. - TheDragonBeyondTheGateRoyal Roadβ β 2.0There's a trend in Xianxia these days about 'cautious' protagonists who make sure no one learns about them and take the 'slow', 'safe' road, while being extremely ruthless.
The secret of almost all these stories is that they depend on the abject stupidity of everyone not the protagonist.
This story isn't an exception, with the main character pushing the boundries harder and harder, only not being caught because of the power of plot (sure, they totally won't spy on your sleeping area. That will totally be a thing when you spend most of your day there. And that's also where you're most likely to be ambushed).
And for what? To join a sect that she doesn't appear to really need or respect. And she's been plotting this move for some time, yet she keeps changing her plan for... reasons, I guess?
If we're supposed to believe she's a calculating monster like the memories of her last life are supposed to suggest, the story has completely failed to convince me of that.
