Started reading and couldn't drop.
It's not like most resurrection stories out there that have to do with this random no-body hero—it's more of a story about a honorable knight-came-skeleton.
The action is detailed, letting you live in it as though a cinematic, than fast-paced, which fits the tone of the story perfectly.
The character gives unstoppable vibes, whereas being a walking skeleton has its limits, the story shows how he overcomes it. Not only through an out-of-nowhere increase in power, but through perceverance and determination.
Some of his lines are chilling, and the world building is amazing—just keeps on getting rich for as far as I've read.
The story is amazing, the lore and such. But there is room for improvement.
There are some issues throughout, so I voted on the Grammer a bit lower. I'll probably change that once they are fixed though.
Overall, if you are in the mood for some dark medieval fantasy, then this is the right book.
Since I have to write a minimum of 200 words, I guess I'll just share some spoilers for those who want it.
The Mc is a Chad.
He has a cool sword—no questions asked.
He gets a sheild—I know right? Totally the right move for someone who barely has any body to protect others by.
He doesn't only see, but he feels—crazy for a creature with neither eyes or skin, but hey, I am not judging.
So yeah.
Read.

This novel, has some of the best prose, tone and atmosphere than any other novel on RR. I came for the cool skelly warrior, but stayed for the flowery writing making me feel like I'm in a grimdark epic fantasy.
The power, and abilities are a bit confusing initially. The author opted for LitRPG elements than shifted to something a bit more dark souls like. An imporvement honestly.

Initially, I thought the title was "These Hollow Bones". That every facet of their being was hollowed out, so that only their purpose remained. So that only their duty remained.

Hallow is a word. Originating from Dutch, German, and Old English - "To make holy".
These are bones built of the duty of thousands, by their very will, because they refuse to ever abandon their duty. Even in death.
These are bones made holy by their very purpose.

I’ll start off with the flaw I can think of, just to clear things up. It uses EXTREME repetition of a certain phrase or two, but it is very necessary imo, and is quite entertaining once you get used to it.
The story itself is very well flushed out. There is a single defined goal, and very few things that the mc will not do to achieve it. The world is also nice and explained, a clear area and we know what’s going on where. And as many others have said, it reads really nicely. Overall, I think it’s a pretty damn good book.
