Description

This is a heavy edit of my web serial novel: The First World Sphere. It has taken a lot of the readers comments and rewritten the story. Feedback is welcome as this story is being prepared to publish on Amazon. I will be posting three chapters a week here. Synopsis: Our main character is reincarnated to a world with magic. He has chosen the path of luxury and ease and not adventure. However, his skill set soon brings the adventure to him.

I’ve read the whole story up to chapter 206 on Patreon. I’m going to be honest, there are a lot of faults with this story. Sometimes the character interactions in conversations are really flat, more used as a tool to get from a to b than to flesh out any character or world building. The way that the main character treats everyone around him can be very transactional at times due to that language and lack of strong dialogue.But. But but but. Despite all this, this is one of my favorite stories on this site. the ideas and creativity of this book are fantastic. The start is a little weak, but once the story gets going, it is so incredibly fun. I absolutely love the magic system, it’s original and feels very satisfying when he gets stronger. I also think the power creep is done in a fulfilling way, which can be very hard to find. The story has clear direction and meaning; it makes sense why things are happening, and there is a clear logic to follow and it is well executed. The lack of filler is so nice *chefs kiss*One thing that is so nice to come across is the lack of constant pithy attempts at humor that I feel plague the litrpg genre. When it comes to the constant attempts at humor in a lot of stories- I’m tired boss. And while there are funny parts in this book, it doesn’t feel like that MC is constantly trying to lay down a line for a laugh track. Super refreshing.This book is worth it.

I enjoyed book 1 immensely. I came to this series after completing one of the authors other series book 5 of a soldiers life. I wasn’t sure if this book could compare but it does! I can’t wait to see more of the World Sphere and see what else Storme and friends get up to! If you’re a fan of a soldiers life you’ll love this series.

I find the world's fascinating the idea of a magical dyson sphere. Is incredible and fascinating. The characters are very well written and enjoyable to read. The magic system I find highly enjoyable seems to be very well thought out the skills and abilities system is also very well done. I would highly recommend this story. I actually discovered it on audible where I purchased the first book and then sought it out on Royal road to get more because I found it so enjoyable.

The story is amazing and so is the MC. He is smart, funny, and very driven. The side characters are also unique and not two dimensional at all like a few of the reviews said. It feels obvious that the writer is learning on the go and the improvements are actually insane. I feel like a harem is growing though without any action. Edit: Another thing i like id the fact it was like...i have previous memories and he didn't have to act like a 5yr old 30 yr old....like he actually lived and grew and assimilated w the culture and everything...it's rare to find this type of development wo mc being a pervert or eccentric

I am really liking this story and want to give 5 stars overall but can't due to a lack of polish. I am following another story by this author which has my 5 star easily.
Style 4.5/5 The author does use some tropes which are common. I like their take however so for me that isn't a problem.
While I personally enjoy the trope of the "Clueless Chick-Magnet" having that plus an ever increasing entourage of attractive woman is going to have to come to a conclusion or get out of control very soon.
Grammar 3/5 I believe major editing is actively happening so probably won't remain a problem, as I mentioned above another series by this author doesn't have noticeable issues for me. As it is I find one or two snags per chapter which bug me a bit.
Story 5/5 Follows a logical path, a good amount of foreshadowing as well as surprises. I'm a big fan. I like how the magic and abilities in the universe work.
I like that although the MC is reincarnated his memories of Earth don't destroy or overwhelm the World he finds himself in (Aside from hamburgers!)
Character 5/5 There are a lot of characters! I like the MC, I like his best friend, I like his trainers and sister, I have grown to like his brother, I like the classmates, I like the business partners, and I like most of all that while not all the characters interact with each other the main character does interact with all of them without there being "arcs" in the sense that relationships don't only exist for a set time before being put aside. Very well done in my opinion not easy to manage as a writer.
