The Witch Hunters, Book 2: The Soldiers of Ash

Volkard is dead, but Martin is still missing. Volkard is dead, but he did not work alone. Volkard is dead, but the few surviving members of the Order of St. Heinrich have stumbled across the edges of a plot unlike anything seen since their foundation. Volkard's allies, meanwhile, are poised to unleash sudden war upon the Kingdom of Sturmwatch, while Martin and his father remain trapped in the midst of events over which they have no power. With no one to help them but Janus, a former witch hunter turned renegade, they must try to escape the country before they are caught up again in a clash between the new world, and the remnants of an ancient evil that seeks to overthrow it.
