This walks the line between crack and a serious fanfiction. I think it found a fun balance between completely breaking the story in a fun way while still having a storyline that keeps you engaged in the long term.
The mc's motivations and plans aren't super consistent but it only occasionally bothered me. The ideas and scenarios were fun enough that i overall enjoyed the ride!

I'll kick off with the 2 main bad elements.
First off, the writing is awkward. Sentences don't flow naturally, and dialogues feel wrong. To give you a general idea, it reads like a 'Google translate output'.
Secondly, the MC is really stupid. I feel this could actually be very funny if the tone was more goofy but as it stands he comes off as retarded in most cases. Baiscly, the MC is an incel edgelord that thinks only about getting laid.
With that out of the way, let's talk about the good.
Firstly, the plot is well thought out and intresting. There are several great twists notably in the handling of the diary.
Secondly, the pacing is excellent and the story will eventually drag you in.
Lastly, the writing quality does improve slightly over the course of the story. Though there is still much room for improvement.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a chill fanfic to scratch the Harry Potter itch. Give this a shot. But don't expect a hidden gem.

Whoever is the author's template for the mc is one sad guy.
Mc went all over the place like a headless fly, changing goals as much as he can.
The master of obliviation forgets a lot, even his previous goals, he jumped from dealing with mind magic then suddenly turned to business then dueling and now the inevitable Hogwarts.
Tldr: Throw any of your expectations on a Lockheart insert, the mc only gets some rando's in bed, he hates mind magic, named characters are glorified.
