- FuDawgRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The beginning premise was amazing and had me hooked. Somehow it just kept getting better. Great characters with a fantastic pace and believable development. I love the addition of the most recent characters and the possibilities that their arrival brings. A definite NEW FAVORITE!!!
Do yourself a favor and binge. - ShiningBarRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0let's start with the style, the convos are best described as fun, the characters interact in natural and hilarious ways jokes are almost never repeated unless it's a running gag i could go on forever about this but I believe in keeping it short and sweet.
grammar so far is perfect I haven't seen any errors and if there were any they are solved almost instantly after so I have no complaint so I give them a perfect score of 10/10
let's move on to the story the start has the tone of an isekai gone wrong but while that is true the way it is presented is almost completely new in execution and genuinely makes me laugh in this it establishes itself relatively quickly it funny and yet manages to keep an underlining serious tone that just work perfectly def a 10/10
Now let's move on to the character score, honest to god the bit I wanted to write about for this whole review I love it the mc is genuinely a realistic human emotion wise he doesn't get annoying with time like other books I've read recently.
traits that make me like him are not bent and discarded for convince like in other books no it stays consistent, the way he interacts with others makes me laugh and keeps me smiling for whole chapters and hours after.
and after reading all of it in the past four days I haven't felt so happy for so long in a long time this character review about the mc isn't just restricted to him but extends to other characters and while you may feel that their emotional and mental states are not very realistic at times that completely change the wider world is taken into context overall they are fully fleshed out and reveal more sides of them selfs that makes sense I love this book and rate it a 10/10 I stg you need to read it I promise
(ps: I know I said that I was going to keep it short and sweet but this is too good to not leave a full review on
pss: i apologise for any misspellings im using an old laptop and half the keys have stuck 💀 ) - SorazaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It took me a little bit to get into this story. It almost felt like the early chapters contained a lot of indecision about where the larger plot point would set. It makes sense, the writer was taking time to find their pace and find it they did. I am currently 35 chapters in, and I can say that I am beginning to see this as one of my favorite litrpg/fantasy series of all time. It isn't as focused on tables and progression as some other titles that I enjoy but trust me explosive growth is still there. The author manages to capture a feeling of wonder and excitement for exploration that I find lacking in a lot of titles. The way the novel manages to expand out from a single point into a sprawling mass of uncovering the unknown, whether they be dangers or the mystical is quite refreshing and the characters grow on you quickly, even if they are a bit manically psychotic. especially if they are bit manically psychotic. The emotions start out surface level and build up until you start to see the reasons for a lot of characters actions, a wealth of development hiding just below the surface. A lot of the battles are basically just mc holding back so he doesnt't have to stomp people flat. but that doesn't mean he doesn't run into lots of things that are much scarier than he is, there's always a bigger fish and so on. AAA this series is awesome.
- Jackers30Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is fantastic, characters are deep, magic system is awesome and tackles heavy subjects very elegantly.
It might take a bit to get used to the main cast, bu it's definitely worhtwile to stick with this one.
Specially bell, she's a bit too murder happy, but that adds to her charm.
Also, fair warning, this story has a lot of body horror, so if you're not into that beware.
All in all, you'll be surprised with this one! Give it a try! - AJellyfishRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love this, it's one of the best if the best things that I've read on this site or any site as a matter of fact.
This could be a published book with little to no revision (other than some copyright issues with the way the Waystation moves)(I can't remember the name of the movie)
The story has so much potential and better yet it's still updating, hopefully this story never stops posting new chapters.
Ok now on to why I rated this story so high;
-Style
Writing style can be something that ruins your reading experience or makes it a thousand times better, luckily this is the latter.
The writing feels 'fluid' for lack of a better word, it seems to be part of a completed story.
-Story
From the minute I started reading...I was hooked, the story has an originality that I haven't seen in books outside of the rising stars. For the life of me I can't figure out why this hasn't had more reviews or attention.
Ok back to reviewing
The story let's you bond with the characters before adding a new conflict, and theirs enough time for the characters to have their ark.
-Grammar
Im not a grammar shark, hell I don't really pay attention to grammar (I read the Chinease cultivation stories as well as their fanfics, a bit of bad grammar doesn't even register) but this feels like it's been carefully reviewed and had the grammar checked rigorously.
Plus as far as I can tell there have been little to no spelling mistakes.
- Characters
I could write pages and pages of praise about the characters and their development but I have to stay focused and not be that biased.
The characters feel human even though they aren't, they feel fleshed out enough that I could see some of them living a normal-ish life.
But as always their are some issues, sometimes the characters seem to revert back to their original version, without the character growth. It's not very noticeable but after reading the story again a few times, it's something that irks me.
Moving away from that, I have to give a huge shoutout to - LanteanjRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The start is a bit jarring and horror story-isk, but after the Isekai into the new world the story quickly picks up pace. Buckle up for an exciting road trip around fantasyland with what seems to be a Hotel/ Fortress on wheels.
Lots of comedic moments with some horror thrown in some places, but overall a good read. - FastFoodNationRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This is one funny shit! I mean it! Seldom have I laughed so much! We all want our "hero" to actually piss of the "gods", very seldom to almost none is it done. Wait no more.
The consequences of that action you can quickly find out in the story. I really feel and sympathize with the main character. An extraordinary feat to create such a good main character. The site characters are not far behind. This is what fantasy should be about.
As for rest, nothing bad stand out, try it =)! Thx for providing the story! - MielRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Style :
Really nice style that doesnt make you skip half of the chapters.
Story :
The story is really great. For once there is a married man, he's not a psycho killer, nor a carpet man. He's also not a teenagers / college student soit's easier to get attached to him when you're an older reader. The hero doesnt know everything and thé story makes you want to read more. There are non repeat.
Grammar :
10/5 because it's twice perfect
Character :
They 're all different, and they change and mature a lot. You get attached, and cry a little too.
Overall:
10/10 because I really liked it and it was nice yo read.
Kiss kiss.
HOW IS THAT NOT 200 WORDS LONG ALREADY!?I'M TYPING ON MY PHONE AND I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO WRITE THAT MANY WORDS.
WHY ARE YOU TORTURING ME LIKE THIS I JUST WANTED TO WRITE A REALLY NICE REVIEW FOR A STORY I REALLY LIKED AND BECAUSE THE AUTHOR SEEMS NICE AND NOW I HAVE WRITE A WHOLE NOVEL JUST TO PUBLISH MY SIMPLE OPINION AND I STILL HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY WORDS I STILL NEED.
Day 10: I dont know how long I will last. If you managed to read to that point, you're braver than I am so I'LL tell you more about the story. It has litrpg parts, but it doesnt go too deeps. At halfway, I think you hey stop talking about the stats points.
The fae are the greatest thing in the universe, and fairy are juste dirty sluts.
IS IT OVER NOW!???! - maelos61Royal Road★★★★ 3.5Honestly, if it weren't for what happens in chapter 46 I might've kept on reading some more, but what happened was just too hamfisted and badly implemented for me to bother. Without spoiling anything, one of the main characteristics of the MC kind of gets ruined by a hamfisted, needless implementation.
The characters are relatively well-rounded, though leaning more on comical caricature than any realism and the worldbuilding is rather shallow. Grammar is great, style seem fine and story is essentially just a slice-of-life-ish power fantasy (hard to call something action or adventure when there's no real stakes because you know the MC and co will survive anyways).
Decent filler if you're hankering for a fun, no-brain story, but it just went a bit too far for me at the end of chapter 46 to keep enjoying it.
