Description
(This is the second story in the Wardens of Eternity series and connects with'One Dungeon to Rule them All')
Blurb:
They took everything from him, the life he knew, the people he cared for, his whole family. He will go to the end of the universe if needs be to find them. And fight them again. The Proctors of Darkness and their minions. The weavers of lies and miseries. He’ll either shatter their souls into countless pieces, imprison them in the darkest dungeon for eternity, or die trying. It’s the only path worth taking. But on that path, he is not alone.
Alice has been given a chance to live again, in a new world, with new rules. She comes to him, looking for a mentor. But as her mentor is trying to keep her safe and help her grow, she realizes that he has too many shortcomings and is bound to fail again. So, to give them a chance to survive, she will need to step up and do things she never thought possible, becoming smarter and stronger than any woman she had ever known.
This is a slow-developing story. There is a system that is dependent on performances and achievements.

- tv2022Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I may be jumping to an early conclusion here, but this story promises so much I hope it does not disappoint. It seems to be growing bigger and better with each new chapter. And in the next few ones, we will see how it will all play out. I like how the author inserts new characters from time to time, but at the same time, I hope he does not leave us hanging and we get to see some kind of closure relatively soon, at least on a partial level.
Again, thanks for the story. Let's keep it going!! - DaniPopRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I did not think I was going to like this story since I already read so much about revenges and getting even with people who hurt you. But this is not at all about it, and I found myself drawn to the story, reading one chapter after another.
I like how it flows and the author says it is slow, but I found it just right. The fighting is not too much, but I like the main battle that took place toward the end. And now, we are waiting for see how it will go down with the dungeon. I bet it will be another great one.
I also like that there are a lot of different characters inside, from assassins to princes. They all have something good and bad about them, and that makes them very colorful and lifelike for me. Even the main mc is not a straight-up good guy either.
I like Alice a lot and I see how she's changing, from a princess-wannabe to a she-warrior.
It will be interesting to see how this will go on, so I hope my positive review helps motivate the author to continue giving us continuation to this very entertaining story. - Freeman77Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is a nice little surprise with a lot of cool characters. I just hope the author does not kill them all. I do not think it is very slow, and there are a lot of fighting scenes inside, even a whole battle. And it seems to be very unpredictable, making me wonder what is going to happen next.
- JigorRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story has the familiar settings with goblins and other monsters, so I could easily connect with it. But it's done in a refreshingly interesting way. For one, there is a human young woman from Earth called Alice who I find very intriguing. At first, she is portrayed as nothing more than a spoiled brat, but then, she soon shows her true colors, and makes me even admire her. She brings a unique point of view to the story, especially in chapter 25, and the stuff like that is what I really enjoy. Hopefully more of that will follow in the chapters ahead, and I will continue to be positively surprised. But so far, so good.
- Jure beRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am not a big fan of fantasy progressions, but this story got me interested enough to follow it for the first 14 chapters, and now I'm eagerly waiting for more. There is a lot that I found unique and enjoyable here, like the kind of the world building on the multi-specie planet with dungeons and magic (although magic seems to work quite uniquely here). Also, I like that the story is not overburdened by statistics and illogical progressions.
Style is a mixture of dialog and narratives with enough descriptions thrown in to make it all very dynamical. It's a slow moving story with a lot of details, and if you expect to see MC running from one action to another, you will not find that here.
Story, at first, might not seem to be very unique, but then as I read, I found a lot that was quite different, maybe because I really like the idea of a master and apprentice. The author opened up a lot of possibilities and it will be interesting to see where he takes it.
Grammar might be the story's biggest issue, but I did not downgrade it overly because of it since I know that most writing here is a work in progress and can't be expected to be edited professionally.
Characters might be the part of the story I find the most interesting. There are quite a few of them, from a young woman from Earth that was offered a chance on her deathbed to go someplace else in a new body to a guy that is trying to become a wizard of sort.
I see the potential of this story to develop into something very enjoyable, so I would like to encourage the author to continue writing it. On the other hand, the issue with the vengeance is not important for me, and I hope it does not drag indefinitely, but the story so far is very interesting. - LazyeyeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is the first review I'm doing, so I do not know how helpful it will be. But I wanted to say that I am fully into this story and I'm hoping that the author will continue with it for a long time to come.
At first, the story starts slow and for a moment you do not think there is nothing unique about it. But then, things pick up and it all becomes quite exciting. Maybe this is due to the fact I am starting to see the characters and how their flaws and strengths might play out in the future.
Style of the story is good. There is not too much conversation and the numbers that are given through the system do not distract you. Also, I like the occasion description that does not slow the story down too much.
Story line is not the most unique, a guy who chases a creature that destroyed his home. But, there are a lot of little plots along the way and different characters and that makes it refreshing and interesting. The original premise of the story has actually slipped my mind as I'm now interested in what is to happen in the next chapter.
Grammar was not a problem for me. But then, I'm not an expert either, so take my rating here with a grain of salt.
Characters are the one that I probably like the most of this story. There are quiet a few of them, and they are all different. I see that the author has intention to build this as a multi-mc story, and I think so far he is doing a good job at it.
This can turn into a great one, but I can see how it will need a lot more chapters to accomplish that. Hopefully, the author will have a perseverance to accomplish that. - NeithersRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The characters grew on me and now I want to see what is to happen to them. They are so very interesting. The worldbuilding is not too unique so it feels very familiar, but the dungeon take is something I have not seen so far. The story flows nicely and there are not too many numbers to concern yourself with. I also see that the author is connecting this story with his other one, and I think that could make it even better if done right. Hope the writer does not drop this story anytime soon.
- SajkuRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story has what I like, a fantasy world and a lot of interesting characters who are not just black and white. And most importantly, I see how they are changing and growing. A little bit more of stats would not hurt either especially for someone who is into them like myself.
On the downside, since the introduction of Alice, i was hoping to see a lot more about her. Hope that is to come in the future. Especially if El does actually die. - AndyMRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I got a pleasant surprise here reading this story, not just because the plot is not as straightforward as it was indicated early in the story, but because you get to see that the story is very unpredictable. So, after 35 chapters, I think I know now how the story will go, but, I'm not sure based on everything I've read. And, in my book, that makes it enjoyable. Nice work!
- VasolaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I started reading this expecting to see a bunch of menus and numbers overpowering the writing. But there are no such distractions here even though the system is there, used only when necessary and with a certain purpose.
I like that. Along other things that make this story very well put together. Hope it will develop into something epic, so kudos to the writer!
