A fatal flaw is his only path to power.

For two years, Nathan has been a failure. Cursed with an abysmal energy absorption rate, he's the weakest disciple in the Verdant Spire Sect and faces certain expulsion. His dream of returning to Earth to save his ailing mother is about to die. He's a talentless cultivator at the bottom of the food chain, with one day left to change his fate.

Just when all hope is lost, his long-dormant System awakens, granting him a bizarre and unique power:The Passive Paradigm.

His flaw is no longer a curse. It's the key to a new kind of advancement where endurance is strength, and survival itself is a source of explosive growth. By discovering loopholes and turning the rules of cultivation on their head, Nathan forges a new path. But this power comes at a cost, forcing him into a brutal tournament where he is the underdog and a deadly forest that wants him dead.

This is a review of this story at chapter 40, immediately after book 1.
    Loved the fast start.
Excited to see Nathan continue to get stronger.
I would love to understand Nathan's motivations a bit more to get stronger, but hopefully that becomes clearer as the story progresses. I do also hope Nathan gets more friends: right now he has less than a handful of meaningful ones!

I’ve got a lot of stories that I follow, but work keeps me too busy, so I can’t catch up to all of them until the weekend.  This is has become one of the few that I make sure to read on the same day it comes out.
I really like this story, and am glad I found it. The chapters are longer than some others, so it took me a lot longer to catch up to Chapter 63 than I thought it would.
The idea of the customized system for the MC is great - it only supports with passive abilities (hence the title) compared to the “normal” systems others have (or simulate with implants - not a lot of detail on how it works for others yet). There’s a story/mystery there that seems to slowly become clearer over time, and is added to by mystery/back-story development over the long term…
The writing is a good, nice to read with very few mistakes right from the beginning, and yet the Authors writing-style does grow even better over time.
Character development is good for the MC, but not as great for other characters, mostly because the story doesn’t allow it until the arc staring after chapter 40. After that, the story progression allows for other character development, and I like how that’s going with additional/growing characters that are involved in the story. Most antagonists seem one dimensional initially, but there has been growth to some of them over many chapters as MC becomes more familiar with them, so I think that’s the way the MC sees them, which makes sense to me…

I first stumbled upon this book initially via an ad and then read the first volume on Kindle and was blown away by the great world building and actions taken by the MC.
This is one of the few books that rival some of the great classics similar to ISSTH.
Most novels in this genre struggle but I binged the whole series in a few hours and eagerly anticipate the next chapter.
Grammar, sentences are actually in paragraphs and not in a wall of text, good pace and also understanding the character and limitations of the system and how to exploit it.

I am a big fan of a solo powerful MC. The author is active and will listen to suggestions and comments. The fights are fun to imagine and the fact the MC doesn’t always obliterate enemies is a welcome prospect. The included system isn’t overwhelming like some, overall an amazing book

While the setting and tropes the may not be anything ground breaking, I have to say, the author's execution is very impressive. The main character stands out, and his system, abilities, and fighting style are well thought out. This story is a real gem in a genre often plagued with poorly executed attempts.
Moreover, the long chapters are especially satisfying, offering plenty of content to binge and immerse yorself in. All in all, I have no complaints and am thoroughly enjoying this story and look forward to more!

Nah I like this.very much so
U should not expect some profound mystery or abyss-deep secrets. tho author already has set up some cool stuff for later.
I don't know what this story is supposed to be but right now? It is a good quality litrpg cultivation that is very light and not serious (unlike most xianxia)
Very easy to read, the grammar is good, the pacing is decently fast
Charachters are enjoyable and dynamica are not cringe
Power system is bland, to be fair, although not a bad thing(god do I not need another 15 names that mean absolutely nothing). Power scale is similar to lotm or more tame xianxia where rank 9 (assuming it's highest) are mostly planet level at best
The world is one thing we dont know much of, tho it seems fairly standard for now

Good! The story progresses nicely, blending action and humor in a delightful way. I'm fully on board with the system; its execution is different from what I expected, but it's even better! The pacing keeps me engaged, and I hope the author maintains this momentum, making the story even more exciting and enjoyable as it unfolds.

This story starts all right and becomes better but then quickly becomes worse starting at the secret realm adventure (around Chapter 56). There are a lot of Elements that are introduced in early chapters, Systems, Cultivation, magic, Technology, Robots, AI and Brain chips, some things long forgotten after just a few chapters or never mentioned in any clearer detail just kind of hand-waved into it. It feels like the author has thrown in things he finds cool or interesting just to leave them behind and introduce something new that he happens to think about. Repeating this throughout the story.
Characters are introduced as if they were always there but never mentioned or talked about by anyone ever. And some are introduced just to be obstacles or to lecture the main character because of something no one told him about that he should apparently have known. Multiple people have told him that he is a pawn in a game too large for himself to comprehend. And he should let himself be manipulated but also that he should trust only himself but also! Trust the people that have specifically told him that they don’t like or care about him at all and think of him as a pawn in a big game. The fact the MC hasn’t packed his things and left after the first day his system appeared is astounding to me as mentioned before, he has no friends or people that like him, only people that pretend to or manipulate him for their own gains. Which some of them have said explicitly to his face.
Having Binged 100 chapters I can say that overall, the story is alight. But it wants too much too fast. The Scope Creep of the story is real. If the author killed of every named character that has had any sort of re-occurrence in the story it would improve it.

This is a mashup of several different genre so far, ok so cultivation is the main premises here nope, we got a system which turns this into a gtacha game lit. But wait this is a isekai or sort of it seems in what little I could read the story fails to decide what it's identity is. So I am gona stop here the more I read the less immersive it is, I love all these genere but not mashed up like this. By being all inclusive from the dialogue to the genre it's bland like I have seen it all before, nothing unique here but hey I didn't read more than a few pages. It is not bad but not for me

Great concept, but the humor ist mainly slapstick and, whilst the necessity of plot development is understandable, MCs stupidity in several situations is just frustrating.
When you play football and are capable of predicting people's movement due to [Martial Arts Mastery], why T F don't you nudge the ball in its trajectory away from the goal, instead deciding to take a literal burning metal ball to your arse?
    Chapter 54
I accepted several of these forced plot developments, and anyone who likes them has a blast reading this, but to me this ruins a otherwise fun story and usually capable (/enjoyable to read) MC.
