Schedule:Updates whenever I feel like it.

The Trumpet Wars Saga is a YA15+ Novel series about teenaged protagonists and the adults that help guide them onwards.

The pages herein will contain adult themes, violence, struggle, realistic (as best as I can manage) emotional and personal growth, and one awesome best friend.

This story isn't just about Superheoes, it's about overcoming adversity and the doubts and insecurities that plague us. I can't promise it'll be a masterpiece: But I hope you'll enjoy it anyway.

I believe that superhero fiction, if done right, is about the best thing you can get when you mix the fantasy and sci-fi genres. As of chapter 8, it looks this story could get there, although it is still a bit early to pass judgement.
As for the grammar, style, etc? So far so good! There aren't any terrible typos, the action is on point, the characters are believable and we even got a bit of that obnoxious high school drama that is par for the course in young adult fiction nowadays.
That's about it for now, but I will probably come back and edit this into an advanced review after the end of a major arc.

I'm reserving my complete judgment for later.
These first 6 chapters do a great job of introducing the world, the main character Lucien and his daily struggles.
One really feels those Peter Parker vibes in Lucien.
It's promising to me. Style is good, already proved its effectiveness.
For now I would encourage you to go read it!
