- CreativeNothingRoyal Road★★★ 3.0While trying to express yourself in writing, there is always this impuls to just go with your most negative thoughts. This scene was honest, and it was about something real. However, it didn't go much beyond that. As a reader, it's as if I've been dipped into this black sludge, but now I have to crawl out of it on my own.
Perhaps, the world really is that bleak. But stories, even if they are challenging, could potentially offer something more. And I don't think the "victim" mindset of the narrator was challanged at all, they indulged themselves too much.
