Description

What would you do if all electricity suddenly went out? What would you do if you were teleported right outside of your home and couldn't get back in? What would you do if you were faced with rebuilding what the world had lost in the face of a countless armada of strange creatures? Would you think fast enough? 99% of humanity did not.

3 months after October 1st, 2049, Jeremiah Lakewood has found a safe haven in Eastland, TX after the abduction of his sister by the ever-growing Red Liberty guild. He is on a path to protect himself and his sister, but he certainly cannot do it alone. With a growing group of compatriots and the utilization of a core game mechanic that has been overlooked by most, Jeremiah will try to prove that strong tactics and a well-rounded team will outperform even the most advanced guilds in this new world.

--What to Expect--

This story is a Nation-Building LitRPG, but it is also a bit of a slow burn. This story was written to be more of a faction vs. faction take on the LitRPG genre. Dialogue and character development will be allotted large portions of the story in the place of just pure murderhobo action.

Character development, true-to-life conversation, realistic societal development, and group versus group warfare are the main driving points of this progression story. If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, I'll be uploading as frequently as possible. I have a large backlog and have been writing a large amount consistently. I expect this story to be gaining new content for quite a while. Hopefully you all enjoy reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it so far.

I am thoroughly enjoying this story so far. Characters are unique and interesting. There is a good mix of action and dialogue. There are some grammar mistakes here and there but not so many it affects the story. I'm looking forward to reading the rest as it is released.

The author is clearly developing a promising talent in writing. The prose is a little rough around the edges sometimes, as is normal with newer authors, but the themes are very interesting, and I haven't personally read anything with similar world building before. Similar stories may exist, I just haven't seen them. Tons of fun to read and I really hope this guy gets published lol.
