    Hello, CommonName!
You probably hear this a lot, but I really hope you find inspiration to continue.
The story is engaging, and the execution is the best I've read in this survivalist genre of LitRPG. I also love how you've tailored the system to the narrative.
The overarching influence of external forces feels present but not overwhelming. The way you brought in this dynamic really makes me root for the main character.
Everything ties together into a clear narrative, and I can't wait to read how it plays out further.

I've been writing on RR since February and finally found time to get some reading in. This story was the first to grab my attention, and I'm glad it did! I'm writing this review as of Chapter 16.
The story is well paced with a solid atmosphere. CommonName does a great job balancing the bigger world with the more local nature of the story. You know there is craziness going on out there, yet you are just as concerned about Dee growing potatoes as you are the decimation of our species.
The battle scenes are well thought out and creative without overstaying their welcome. The System is complex but presented simply, only appearing when needed. There is good use of description to move things along without dwelling too long in one area.
Finally, the simplicity of it really drew me in. Being in the mountains in a small rustic cabin has a peace to it that lets your imagination wander while giving the story firm grounding. There is a mystery surrounding the events, but then Dee gets to go back to her potatoes.
I'm looking forward to reading where it goes next.

While I usually enjoy tales of overpowered MCs who luck into the craziest skills, I am enjoying this story very much. A traumatized MC who has questions but no answers, who is just trying to cope as best as she can.
It makes a refreshing change of pace without sacrificing any action or tension. Well written and fun.
There are some grammatical errors, but much less than some other we'll-received stories on RR, and they in no way pull me out of the tale.
    Well done.

This is a simple premise done well. Diana is a normal, everyday character with all the expected human vulnerabilities. She doesn't have any special knowledge or expertise that would let her hack through her circumstances.
This can be both a good and bad thing. In a way, it lets us explore what would truly happen to an ordinary person. I would fear without a gimmick it could get boring, but so far it hasn't been. In fact Diana's normality makes it more gripping and realistic when she's faced with trouble.
I appreciate that the author paints Diana's inner emotional turmoil as well. It grounds the character and makes it more believable and realistic. It doesn't overwhelm the story, it's just a few moments here and there in the beginning.
Storywise, that's where the special aspects/gimmicks are introduced, and I was delighted by them. Can't wait to see where that leads further. I can tell it has the potential to be a big middle finger to the apocalypse and I'm here for it.
When it comes to grammar and style, it's decent. The usual small mistakes but nothing too jarring.
This is an early review, so we'll see how things develop. I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes.

I really liked this fiction.  It is not the typical popular OP protag that is common fair on royal road.  Yeah it is a litrpg but it comes across as more real and every achievement feels hard won.
What can I say, I keep wanting to know what happens next so in my opinion despite minor flaws it is 5 stars.

So far I have really enjoyed everything. I think the main character is solid and has a good head on her shoulder. I can see the changes in her behavior and thoughts. I like the system and how the skills are done. I am looking forward to more combat too. I want to see how she has improved.

Actions have consequences, survival is tough, and the MC is an ordinary person without OP abilities.
As of the time of writing this, I have enjoyed the story immensely. Naturally, there’s some errors here in very minor consistency, grammar and spelling, but there’s nothing to complain about in terms of writing and tension.
I appreciate the slow-pace survival of it, especially because it’s not snail’s pace with unnecessary filler. It’s slice of life, base building, and it has meaningful survival. It’s appreciated and a nice change of pace. I especially love the MC has a good mindset, and she feels realistic. Reacts to situations like a normal person. Not annoying. Not childish, not.. weird. Just a regular person trying to survive. Though I’m not sure I have a good idea on her personality just yet, as everything has been about survival, I’m looking forward to seeing more of her personality in the future.
Really looking forward to more chapters!

So far, The Survival Plan by CommonName is pretty much exactly what it advertises. The premise utilizes several common LitRPG tropes, and it does them pretty well. It reminds me of several of the earlier stories I read in this genre, though I hope CommonName does something unique with these tropes as the story unfolds.
The MC, Diana, isn't much of a hero or much of a survivalist, but she seems well written so far. She's a young woman left alone in a cabin in the woods focused solely on survival, and she quickly begins uncovering and piecing together key aspects of the System. She fluctuates primarily between grief, despair, and determination (which I'm sure could be annoying for some), but we're still early on and the author does a good job depicting Diana's internal turmoil. It seems fair to assume she'll grow physically and mentally (and hopefully meet some people) as the story continues.
The writing itself is relatively fluid, and the author likes to "show not tell," by which I mean there's a good amount of description. There are some minor grammatical errors, but they're relatively rare and the author has been good about responding to them as they get pointed out.
Story-wise, there's a good amount of plot set-up, but not a lot to talk about yet. Hopefully I'll be able to update this when the MC starts roaming more and engaging with the changed world.
Overall, I'm really excited for this and wish the author the best as they continue writing! Keep those chapters coming!

The Survival Plan by CommonName offers a grounded and introspective take on the LitRPG genre. Diana Mond’s story begins with a moment of quiet loss, but the sudden integration of Earth into the Universe throws her into a fight for survival. Isolated from society, Diana’s focus on crafting, base building, and planning makes for a slow but rewarding read.
This is not an action-heavy adventure—readers should expect a slice-of-life pace with careful attention to detail. The slow burn progression highlights Diana’s resourcefulness and determination, making every small victory feel well-earned. While the stakes are high, the focus on survival over combat sets it apart from many LitRPGs, though at times the narrative’s methodical approach might feel too slow for some.
Overall, The Survival Plan is an enjoyable read for fans of crafting and base-building elements. If you appreciate a methodical, slice-of-life progression where the focus lies in preparation and resilience rather than high-octane battles, this story is worth a read.
