Description

A newly born summons finds themselves engulfed in violence and bloodshed with no idea why. They don't care about that though, all they desire is to keep their summoner safe but with a brutal war going on between two continental superpowers, this is no easy task.

Schedule; Monday<>Wednesday<>Friday

(I have been told to put this up quite adamantly by a PR, anyway slice-of-life does obviously happen, Book 1 is more action-focused and Book 2 will be more slice-of-life-focused. That's not to say book 1 has no slice of life or that Book 2 will have no action, they're just centred more around different aspects.)

This book is a solid read, especially because of the perspective. The story is written from a summoned monster, which isn't something I've previously read, and the author handles it incredibly by using evocative storytelling and a surprisingly wholesome narrative. The characters are well-crafted, and the storyline keeps you engaged. It's a promising start, and I'm curious to see how it develops further. Looking forward to the rest of the story.

The Summon's Perspective takes a unique perspective (pun not intended) as a horror-like monster born from nightmares.
Its simple writing style allows readers to indulge on chapters like pie, making it easily accessible to many through bite-sized chapters.
This unique mc has existential thoughts about himself as he continues to fight for his summoner. World-building is dripped out in each chapter, slowly building up for the reader to easily digest.
Even though brutality and gore is apparent throughout, this is oddly not that dark per se. This is for those who wish for some light-hearted tentacle monster abomination killing things.
Overall, I recommend for easy readability and premise.

Yes, there's a lot of dark, bloody, gorey stuff happening, but our heroic Summoned Eldritch Horror here has such a cheerful, positive mindset that I am seriously rooting for everything to work out for him and his summoner.
Sure, he's a horrifying tentacle monster from beyond reality, but that's hardly his fault. He's just here to help however he can. Even / especially if his job is to turn the other humans trying to hurt his summoner into gooey red paste.
Honestly, I generally don't care for excessive depictions of gore, but I don't find the gore here to be excessive, it is simply the exact right about of mess that would happen, and unnecessary details are not added or lingered upon. I really like the way it was done.

In 'The Summons Perspective,' a fledgling eldritch horror is abruptly summoned into a realm plagued by brutal conflict with the purpose of protecting its summoner amidst chaos and bloodshed.
Overall Score 5/5: This story offers a captivating and unique take on the monster MC genre. The story delves deep into the mind of the summoned creature, providing readers with a fresh and enthralling perspective that's unexpectedly wholesome amid the carnage of the world outside.
Style Score 5/5: The writing style is descriptive, immersing readers in a world of vivid imagery and intricate details. The author expertly crafts a narrative that is both captivating and evocative, allowing us to experience the story through the eyes of the summoned creature. The pacing is skillfully managed, transitioning between action-packed sequences and introspective moments seamlessly.
Story Score 5/5: The story unfolds with a perfect blend of suspense, action, and mystery. We follow the creature's experiences, from battling scavengers to navigating what is to the creature an otherworldly realm, drawing the reader into a tale of survival, discovery, and the complexities of loyalty. I find the story's exploration of the creature's evolving understanding of its creator particularly beautiful and moving.
Grammar Score 5/5: The grammar is easy to read and doesn't have any jarring mistakes that ruin immersion.
Character Score 5/5: The character development is exceptional, especially given the unique nature of the protagonist, a summoned creature with alien thoughts and perspectives that need to adapt to its new world. The creature's growth, from fear to understanding, from hesitation to determination, is portrayed with depth and authenticity. Additionally, the creator's presence, through largely unspoken means acts as an anchor and a guide for the creature, even giving it a name. "You're one of a kind Phaeraxion, you're pure. You're good, you're perfect even.”
    In conclusion, 'The Summons Perspective'

"The Summons Perspective" is a chilling and introspective tale of horror, seen through the eyes of a newborn eldritch creature bound to its creator. Amid the confusion, gore, and grotesque imagery, it explores its own POV grappling with its own existence and the malevolent forces at play (or chase). A haunting journey that delves deep into the true horrors behind the eyes of horror itself.

The story follows the perpective of a summon who is a sentient blob of flesh and wriggling tentacles and all that! you know the good stuff!!
Anyway it's a mix of elderitch horror as summon who fights in a war , read the story for the reason.
There is more to the story that war though, Like the developments between the summon and summoner (Which is interesting in it's own way)
The relationships between each summons and then there is also the political stuff or reason for the war (Don't worry it's interesting).
    READ TO FIND OUT MORE!!

I deeply enjoyed the slow, steady and mostly methodical development of our tentacled main character. I also took pleasure in his complete lack of awareness of the world without it being explicitly comedic or unrealistically stupid.
I loved seeing his thought processes, personality and the interactions he kept getting into. Throughout the story we’re given hints at the workings of the world and Im very, very excited to see those be uncovered!
I’m very invested in the netherworld and am excited to see how that develops.
Good luck to all, happy writing to authors, and in case I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening and good night ;)

The premise is interesting, and remains so for about half of the first chapter maybe 2 thirds even, and then, until the point i gave up in chapter 6 it is literally all fight scenes.
These fight scenes can be boiled down to "there were enemies, they must be scavenger, because they are too weak. oh there are more enemies, i lost some amount of tentacles, then i killed them, but then there were more enemies." rinse repeat.
Saying i got to chapter six, is a bit of a misnomer too, because after reading this for a while, i started skimming to get to some sort of story, some understanding of whats going on, some sort of discourse between the protagonist and its summoner. Before finally giving up hope at seeing anything different, by chapter 6 :/
As such i really cannot recommend reading this :/ unless i suppose you like seemingly unending context-less action :3
This might be harsh to read as the author, and maybe this is exactly the kind of story you like to read, and so you wrote what you wanna read, if so, that's fair :3
My suggestion would be to reduce the action immensely and create interaction between the characters, so that you achieve more of a story, and less of an action sequence :)
