The Soldiers Core
Community Rating
Description
A man wakes from his previous life as a soldier, marines never die right? Well this one did and now he finds himself as a dungeon core with no squad, no orders, and no clue how to use his yet to be discovered powers. Can he prevent his death a second time? He will certainly find out.

This is my first attempt at writing a dungeon core story, as well as my first story set primarily in a first-person focus so any constructive criticism is welcome, I hope you enjoy the read.

- Undead WriterRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0What can I say about this novel? Does it have a great story, yes. does it capture you with the incredible amount of rich characters? Yes! Does it have a great main character who isn't a ditzy horn dog always after the next woman who decides to enter his life? It does!
Here we have a character who actually has real conversations with real people in a real setting with believable relationships. Usually you don't find a big chested woman running through the forest to fall in love with our main character and this story thankfully doesn't fall into that trope. Instead we have a guy who's focused on his goals who is moving forward and enjoying learning about this new world and learning how to make guns and failing horribly at it!
I can't wait to see where this author takes us and I am looking forward to the incredible story that this author has made. Keep writing author! I really, really, really like this novel and I want so much more!
The only downside I can say is that there are some grammar issues and some spelling issues but it doesn't affect the story. Thanks for such an enjoyable read! - jesus perezRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A very good dungeon story. No discernible writing flaws, likable characters and unique plot.
Would've liked for his avatar to not be human though. Kinda wierd being the leader of a future ant empire and also being human. Maybe future avatar upgrades he can customize his look and abilities based off bonded/named creatures.
Also, please for the love of baby Asian Jesus don't have guns. It may just be me but firearms in a medieval setting kills it for me.
Overall very good so far definitely favorited.
