For most students the first day at the Academy is a breeze. You do some blood work and get a spell tome, both simple things. There’s lots of waiting, but becoming a magister is worth the wait! I was totally excited until the doctor said I should come back in a week for more blood work. That was minor hiccup so I brushed it off. What really shook me was when I got home and opened my spell tome. Blank! How could it be completely blank? A short while later two spells appeared, but it was still only two. Fucking founder, could things get any worse?
