The story is still in its early beginnings from when I review this but it  has been certainly good so far.
OUr MC is young at the start of the story and seems maybe slightly generic boy. Happy, eager boy with a dream. Passionate about his future, knows what he wnats.
Magic seems interesting though we have only been introduced to shield and striuke so far in the story. We get to know the elements but since our MC is from small farming village we don't get to see any basic magic that everyday people might interact with.
I say give this a read but maybe wait for more chapters. I finished when the story was only really about to get going so everything I can say might change soon.
Give it a red hot go though, it shows so much promise and it has dragons. What could go wrong?

J.W. Walters does it again. The author has shown in the first few chapters that they again have mastered the art of worldbuilding and constructing power systems. The rules of the world are both clearly defined and have ridiculous flexibility allowing the reader to comfortably follow along with the story while still wanting to learn more about the world. The expositions on the world itself are also similarly interesting. Along with the currently delightful cast of characters, I can see this novel reaching the top of royal road.

I'm following this author because of his other story. This one has a great start so far and I'm really interested to see where it goes. He writes well and so far this is no exception, even if it's just the first chapter.
It sets things up well, has no errors that I found, and makes me want to read the rest. Give it a shot!
