Hundreds of men, over the years, have disappeared without a trace in the interior of theCaguán Forest,but never a single woman.

This novel tells the story and points of view of five soldiers who go into the interior of a forest called “The Caguán”,looking for two soldiers who disappeared in the thicket whose mystery horrifies the surrounding villagers who no longer even go near the forest for fear of something they usually call:The shadow between the Caguán.

Motivated by the fact that not  a single men have disappeared during the recent years, the five soldiers enter to the forest without caring about the macabre tales, thinking they are just legends like any other forest in the world; however, each step forward tests their concepts of what is real, magical, arcane and mythical, while their points of view, independent of the strange circumstances, show the reader the interior of their personalities and thoughts; denser and more desolate than the forest through which they walk.
