- FelinesoulRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This has been a gritty and delightful story to have been able to read. John awakens as Elana to figure out a whole new world as a blue demoness but is still with a warm heart of gold to try and figure it out. John/Elana is one of the worlds most abused super heroes that you just can't help root for. A bit on the brutal side when reading just like Ashly J. Williams(Evil Dead) might go through but such a fun read. Keep on writing writer, I'm lov'n it.
- PystarRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Originally when I read the description I thought it would be an interesting story, but I was a bit disappointed by the time I finished reading chapter 3.
The character, John, comes off as slow and maybe absent-minded, I was ok with it during the first chapter because of the whole reincarnation thing but during the next chapters he still came off that way and was a bit frustrating to read through it.
I think the character selection choices the author used were quite interesting and I would've enjoyed it more if it wasn't for the problem with the mc I mentioned above. - Conto de falhasRoyal Road★★ 2.0the character has no personality, he/she lets himself/herself be carried away by the world, he/she can get angry or sad but in the end he/she does nothing with these emotions and lets himself/herself be manipulated by a simple "sorry", I stopped at chapter 15 after she got stabbed and nobody did anything just because they were testing her powers, she was surrounded by people who didn't care about her getting stabbed just to test, they didn't even try to be friendly and soon went for mind control
- DaijenaRoyal Road★ 0.5The writing is amazing
The world buidling is great
The character ideas are outstanding
The character treatment, is not
The main character is constantly suffering with small breaks for more misery. I thought it was getting better slowly, so I didn't mind, but then the author pulled a 360, threw the main character into even deeper mud, and beat them bloody while stabing them a few times. It is misserable to read and completely destroyed my desire to continue. There is a difference between creating tension and set backs, and just staight up torturing your own character for no good reason.
