Description
What would you do if your entire life was suddenly changed at the drop of a hat?
The entire population of the world that you were born into suddenly transported to another planet along with the rest of the intelligent inhabitants of the Milky Way Galaxy.
A strange System talking to you about abilities and levels without a care for your opinions.
Thousands of monster spawning dungeons placed around the new world without a care for the new inhabitants.
And if those weren't bad enough, a forced invitation for one thousand random individuals to compete in a livestreamed competition within a dungeon with the rank of Administrator as the prize.
You don’t know?
Well, it’s actually pretty simple.
You survive.
Our story follows Wolf Adler as he, along with every other human on Earth, are faced with a strange blue box filling up their vision, warning them about an upcoming reappropriation of every being of sufficient intelligence to a new planet for the initialization of some sort of System.
Will he perish in this new world? Or will he thrive?
The links to books 1 through 4 are on the author's note on the prologue to book 1.
There is only one main protagonist, but the story does have more than one perspective that it is told from. It's mostly first person from the main protagonist and third person perspective for the livestreams.
The beginning of the story has also been massively rewritten since most of the reviews as of 1/23/2022.
I donotwrite sexual content or harem stuff. I also do not write much if any romance.
Another thing you will never see in any of my stories is betrayal by a loved one. I hate that with a passion.

- SupermanZRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Love this series and I'm always looking forward to the next chapters. Keep up the great work on this one it's my favorite series in your collection thanks for sharing your imagination with us. My only complaint is the lack of actual stats and feats of strength or speed, there is nothing to really go on how fast or strong the MC is at any given time. On the other hand it's somewhat refreshing to go through chapters without reading through full character sheet so I can understand the lack of stat pages.
- The_King_DanielRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I absolutely love this book; the world-building and storytelling are nothing short of amazing. What truly sets it apart for me is how the author carefully crafts the characters, never overwhelming the reader with a barrage of new faces. Instead, they take their time to develop each character, making them feel like real people with depth and complexity.
One aspect that I particularly appreciate is the skilful balance of suspense. The story keeps you on the edge of your seat without dragging the tension on for too long or letting it dissipate too quickly. It's like a finely tuned instrument, where every note strikes the perfect chord.
However, if I were to make a minor suggestion for improvement, it would be to increase the pacing of the floor climbing sequences and perhaps incorporate more scenes of the main character's interactions with their family outside the dungeon. These moments could add a deeper emotional layer to the narrative.
Nevertheless, despite this small quibble, I wholeheartedly recommend this novel to anyone who stumbles upon this review. It's a captivating journey through a meticulously constructed world, with characters that will stay with you long after you've turned the last page. P.S. to the new readers, The story might be slow at first but hang on for a blast. - Fluffy MarshmallowRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's well written with a fun character! The author is very creative with how Wolf uses his powers and creats interesting conflicts. Overall the grammar is good enough that it isn't intrusive. It's a very enjoyable read! Best of luck with writing more chapters, can't wait to see them! If also recomend checking out other books the author has written, they're all really good!
- HexnRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I liked it, it has a lot going for it. I liked the dynamic between the MC and his bonded Spider she is a cutie. I just had to wonder why Wolf didn't go to the earth room more often. I wonder how long this series will last, considering he has to be in the ten thousands in level and he just got to 1000. Well just have to wait to find out.
- clintdavidRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I've really enjoyed this book.its been kick ass from the start.i would really like to see wolf release a howl after he makes a kill other than that please keep up the good work.and please don't throw sapphire away she adds a little extra to the plot.as always I'm looking forward for more and more
- MPRRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I quite like the story overall. I do think a thousand level dungeon may be a bit much but considering the reward it's kind of reasonable that you would have to work your little tushie off to earn it. (It's more of an "after reading about 800 levels I'm not sure if I'll still be up to slogging through 200 more" kind of thing. I hate boredom!) Since I'm already into Book Five I'm willing to stick with it to see how it goes though.
- Soul_Sub_FemRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I would recommend this book. The character building has little depth(my standards are high), but the details on the actions are amazing. The first few chapters were a little bit of a hard read for me because I kept on questioning how he was special(explained later on, if briefly). Once I got past the first few chapters I immediately got hooked. I am antsy for the next chapter and can't wait for more.
In summary it is a great action book. It gets to the action fast, and is set up for a great future plot.
(To Author) Thanks for writing and can't wait for more! ^w^ - TheSummerLionRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This book is amazing.
To start off with I love the style of the book. It has a great mix of litrpg, action, and fantasy. The POV switches are mostly amazing however they can be annoying (that's why I made it 4.5/5 not 5/5) and the live streams are really fun they give insight into the world's lore and whenever it switches to the live streams it is always super entertaining.
The story is one of the best I've ever read it has interesting lore, action, and character development. The story has plenty of things mentioned at the start of the book that only pays off at the end or even in the next book. All of this results in me giving it a 5/5
Generally, grammar is not something I can comment on as I am not good with it myself but keep in mind that the only parts where I could find mistakes were in the parts which have not been proofread and the fact that there weren't many slip-ups in the book and that they didn't really affect the book I give it 4.5 on grammar
Edit: The grammar issues were fixed so my score on grammar has gone up to 5
The characters in the book are amazing. They are interesting, have great personalities and all have character traits that don't change (excluding character development.) There is also a lot of character development which I love. The only bad thing is that Vulcan seemed to be a very shallow character. He only wanted to kill and he didn't have a personality beyond that but it made for great mystery so I give it 4.5 out of five.
Overall rating: 5 - ElaraRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5"The Rise of the Winter Wolf" is an incredible story that had me hooked from the first page. The concept of a mysterious System transporting the entire population of Earth to a new planet is not exactly unique but I still always find it intriguing, and the added element of a forced competition within a monster-spawning dungeon only amplifies the stakes.
But what truly sets this story apart is the inclusion of the live stream aspect. The idea of watching the competition unfold in real time adds an extra layer of excitement and tension to the story. I found myself on the edge of my seat, eagerly waiting for the next chapter to be released, as I followed along with Wolf Adler's journey to survive and potentially become the Administrator.
The characters are well-developed, and I found myself fully invested in their struggles and triumphs. Wolf Adler, in particular, is a compelling protagonist whose determination and cunning make him a force to be reckoned with. The world-building is also top-notch, with a rich and detailed new planet that is both dangerous and fascinating.
Overall, "The Rise of the Winter Wolf" is a must-read for fans of survival stories and dystopian fiction. The live stream element adds a unique twist to the genre and makes for an unforgettable reading experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a thrilling and action-packed story. - GenFox 1GRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I didn't think I would like this novel when it first started, as I wasn't a fan of the whole streaming and sponser stuff. However, after giving the novel a chance the author did it in a way I don't hate and there are some funny interactions it sometimes makes as well. The MC has a decent temporary rival(or main enemy) that has a god complex, pretty normal given he suddenly got lots of power recently there will be people like that. And the MC's ability is done in a way where it isn't BS as he can kill stuff higher level than him no problem to a certain extent (also Ice = best. don't @ me). The grammar is good with some mistakes but the people in the comments helps the author and he listens. Also some personal bias mixed in here as I really like non-human MC although he is just humanoid right now.
In conclusion the novel is worth a shot especially if you are on a hunt to read something to fule your LitRPG addiction.
PS: I really want to see where this goes, as the dungeon has 1000 floors I hope there is just as much or even more content when he gets out.
