Description

Oliver was just another Average Joe when he got hit by truck-kun and sent to another world—reincarnated as Dominic Theodore Valentinian Black, prince of the Black Kingdom. However, he quickly learned that it wasn't all fun and games. His kingdom was isolated, impoverished, surrounded by enemies, not to mention a Succession crisis. The kingdom is at risk of collapsing or being conquered. In such an age in such a kingdom, will the kingdom collapse, taking the Young Prince with it, or will he rise to Greater Heights with his new country?

This book focuses more on the rise of a kingdom over singular characters, so there will be frequent chapters mentioning foreign countries that don't seemingly have a direct impact on the protagonist, as this is a book about a world, not a book about a protagonist who feels like the world. I'm also a new author primarily doing this because I can't find any books or web novels that match my particular taste, so I'm writing about it instead. I appreciate feedback, but if it's just a matter of taste, I request you find another book.

Part one focuses on war and the political situation of the surrounding region, but you don't necessarily have to read it. If you like, you can just skip to part two. Any necessary information that is available in part one will be provided in part two, so you're not missing anything.

I am really looking forward to seeing where this novel goes. I really enjoy the writting style and the story so far. It is what medival kingdom building and warfare should be. I can tell its going to be a slow burn novel as the MC is still a baby but I imagine there will be some time skips at some point which i am all for.

Great story, It is focused in the military part (for the moment) and it covers it REALLY well. One of the first stories that actually describe tactics used in the battle (as well as numbers).
Magic, for the time being is well blended (although it is yet to be known it’s intricacies). The world building seems to be good, and the political reasoning of the different countries regarding a certain war is well thought out and explained.
The main character is good so far (it is yet not too focused on him), I really like that he is born a baby and not just “substituting” a more grown up person, so I think he can integrate better and learn/adapt etc more things.
The grammar is good although there are some places where a comma would be appreciated, there are some miss-writes (some words starting in capital letter with no reason to). Apart from that, it is generally well written in regards to grammar.
There is only a bit of too many names (well of course there would be but maybe it’s just me, I am not that good with names) and maybe sometimes I don’t understand fully who is talking (it doesn’t happen often) by the way it is written.
Another thing I liked is that it had sx, yes, finally, well integrated and it is something that can drive personal relations in politics etc.
All in all it is realistic, it has good dialogues and characters, a good quantity of factions and WELL THOUGHT OUT MARTIAL TACTICS
