- luda305Royal Road★★★★ 4.0The returner premise has always been a bit novel for me, and I still enjoy them quite a bit. This one is shaping up nicely because the returner is an older father-figure, which is a bit uncommon for any type of story on Royal Road, and the Earth-like place is one with magic, albeit very limited. So, the story is quite interesting.
The writing on a technical level is not great. This review isn't really the place to get into the various issues, but it is fairly stiff, too wordy, and the personality of the characters' dialogue seems to swing about a lot.
