The Remains of a Clan (English Version)

I died with my weapons in hand, surrounded by those who had betrayed me. It was not a swift death, let alone an honorable one. I fought until the very end, until my body collapsed, until everything faded away.

Then, against all odds, I opened my eyes. But they were no longer mine. My body was no longer the same. My hands were weaker, my breath less powerful. I was no longer a feared and respected sovereign, but a forgotten heir, the last remnant of a ruined clan.

Memories flooded in. My clan, once dreaded, was now nothing more than a shadow of the past, fit to be trampled on or erased. They expected me to submit, to accept my fate as an inevitability.

But no matter what I have lost. My death may not have been the end… but the beginning of an even greater ascent.
