The Red Lands
Starting alone from the bottom can be such a pain.
A story of being transferred to a new world.
If you are looking for a shocking OP character, this is not him.
If you are looking for a young master with abundant wealth this is certainly not it.
Maybe a poor slum child with a hidden past and bloodline. Poor yes, dirt poor. Full stop.
Incredible knowledge. Aside from some skills in business, nothing.
This is just a tale of an average individual trying to make the best of what he has.
An average human salary-man was transmigrated into the body of a boy from the slums. What made it worse was that it was a completely different world. Armed with only basic knowledge from his past life and nearly nothing from his present, he strives to survive.
Curiosity can become a deadly driving force for any human being. It all depends on who is wielding it.

- ZaafielRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is about a guy transmigrated to a fantasy type world. He doesn't have cool powers or a system. He puts his knowledge to use. Relatively low magic. The writing style is humorous with some fun characters. The MC is very business oriented. There is a strong found family plot along with building an empire.
- Kal GalathRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a great and interesting take on the wuxia and reincarnated genre. The author's greatest strength is his characters and the general pacing of the plot.
However the author has not updated in quite some time. It would be nice to hear from him to find out what's going on with the story. I would hope he is on a temporary hiatus or getting ready to publish. It would be a tragedy if this wonderful story does not get completed. - hrothRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0realistic reincarnation story. havent seen litrpg elements yet, but definitely some interesting magic.
- Lloyd FronteraRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like the MC for being realistic and smart. But, Ming is still my favorite character.
- ZackliphonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Firstly: I just wanted you to know that two of your tags magic and litrpg are quite misleading as so far their has not been a trace of game-like elements or magic in the story. Another tag that is a little confusing is fantasy as so far their hasn't really been any things that would make it count as such( Mythical races such as elves or dragons among other things.). Now onto the actual review.
Overall: SO far the story is pretty decent. It is based around a plot consisting of a man being transported to a world or back in time to a period within the medieval times. While the story's premise isn't bad it's nothing original either.
Story: For why I rated it at only three stars is because so far the character has been doing the same stuff for quite a while now and it gets a little repetitve. A solution to this could be putting in a time-skip or two of maybe a month or something similar. We also arent very far along yet so I didn't want to rate it too high before I have read enough of it. So, what I am saying is that the story isn't bad, its quite good except it can get a little repetitive.
Character: Not much to say here. The development of the character is propably good enough for four stars but, I think the author could easily make it five stars by the mc having some flashbacks as well as introducing characters' background a little better since he has been developing them quite well in the latest chapter or two. I do think their backstories could be introduced in a slightly better manner but that's all, especially the mc's but there is a diverse enough collection of characters.
Style & Grammar: The grammar in this story is mistake free from what I could see which is something always enjoyable but I think the flow of some the paragraphs could improve as well as adding in some more fullstops or commas. Really it's probably the author's greatest strength. For the style, as said above I personally think its a tad bit too much slow. I think if it was sped up just a little - WecareRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Very enjoyable read. The MC handles dangerous situations plausibly and inventively. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes.
- huhuhyRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Overall:The story are rather enjoying.Mc use the head to solve problem rather than use the muscle aka kill everybody that create problem. No op mc and big herem.
The story is refeshing because it is not focusing into much combat. The advanture also thrilling. The plot of the story advancing at the stable rate and not hasty.
The side character progress is great.Side character has their own build. - Karl NordRoyal Road★★★ 3.0TLDR: The story suffers from lack of due diligence with when things were invented historically. The story really needs a massive edit after the author does research. The lack of skids is particularly painful. That said. The characters are well written and the plot is fine on the first arc. After that I couldn't keep reading through the bad "science in a magic world" plot.

+4, Slow, supernatural tension in the first arc is thrilling. I usually don’t like wolves as enemies—because they feel way too generic—but this story is proof they can be done well. The scenes with the “big bad” of the first arc are bone chilling.
+1, Passes Bechdel test: the female characters (in the first arc) are well written.
-1, Missing out on the term “skid row” and the existence of skidders. People don’t carry wood over long distances without skidders, sledges, carts, or wheel barrels in the medieval era. This is why it is called “skid row.” Children would be utterly exhausted after just a few walks and it would make no sense. The economics of the slums just feel off because of this. I think book 1 deserves a rewrite to incorporate this.
-1, Over-reliance on poison as a weapon.
+3, Mr. Thomas trying to convince people on the farm? Gold. The chapter “Bloody hell.” Gold. Mr. Thomas’ epiphany? Gold. This writing was such a fun treat. Mr. Thomas as a character is just so well written.
+1, Magic system is low enough to the ground that regular physics are still fun. I love the tattoos.
+1, “Childish scuffle” chapter is great comedy work similar to Mr. Thomas.
-1, The invention of a gear should not be revolutionary at this time. The windlass was used in water raising in the early Roman Byzantium. The wooden worm drive was invented very early but was never practical. Wood is just not a good material for smaller gears. In a windmill wood was used but those are very large.
-1, Lucy turning into a generic, hot, action-girl was too cliche for me.
-1, Randomly mentioned showers, like there is running w - HurHarRoyal Road★★ 2.0So much grammatical and stylistic mistakes that it ruins the immersion.
- TzafouRoyal Road★ 1.0This WAS a good ln but now it just feels like it is written by someone from china that puts way too much emphasis on honorifics and then dumped into google translate
