Multiple races lived in the world of Elysian, a famous video game worldwide.One day, Sarah, an avid player of the game, wakes up and finds herself transported to another world as her character from Elysian. Despite the shock, she actually likes what happened, and after judging that her previous life was way too boring, she decides to stay in this new world and starts a journey.She finds out that she is much more powerful than any of the beings she encountered so far in this world, and after having her human sense of morality slowly taken over by the evil thoughts of her character Nirvana, she embarks on a great crusade.

I came into the story pretty excited since I tend to find non-human protags to be incredibly interesting when written well, but after a couple of chapters, it just confirmed my sneaking suspicion that it was a poorly written overlord fanfic in disguise.
Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against a good fanfic. I read tons of them, but when you follow the exact same story beats, same premise, same basically everything- I mean, heck even some of the spells are literally identical- but worse then you just get a story that is boring and at times annoying to read. The exposition is handled lazily, the interactions between characters and inside their own internal monologue is at times inhuman and not in the intended way. Everywhere I look, it feels like characters and even kingdoms were basically ripped out of overlord and renamed.
