- MayomoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Style: The style evolves after the first chapter, but there's a big gap when they are written. This is understandable although it could probably use a second pass. The style post-1st chapter is great, and the 1st chapter is still serviceable.
Story: Plot is developing at a good clip. Elements that have been introduced thus far are interesting and the magic system is a good mix of familiar and unique. The setting is fairly mundane, but I think it serves the content of the story quite well. The setting has enough bells and whistles that it can easily expand to something less mundane in the future.
Grammar: grammar has been good. Minimal notes.
Characters: I like the characters quite a bit although they need some time to further develop. The dynamic between character has been good, but I'd like to see some work on backstory and integrating their lived experience into the story. As it stands, the background of the two main characters are nomads that do odd jobs. Now that that is not as relevant, I'm looking for other things to keep me interested in them and I anticipate the author will capably introduce those things in the coming installments through story and backstory development. - Sam2321Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story was amazing to read! The character interactions are really impressive, I am so intrigued to find out what this author has to share with us next. I definetly will be following Lukeman88's account. The world building so far has kept me hooked, but the author still has more to go, especially with the spacing. Overall, the direction is nice, and it is some intelligent work.
