    Cover: Simple but effective.
Synopsis: Quite good. It really tells the readers what the book is all about in a descriptive way. It draws the readers in with the questions too, but could be better.
Grammar: Excellent. No error that could affect the flow of the story.
Story: The story is a mixture of high fantasy, progression and time travel. From what ive read, the story is developing really well.
Style: Third person narration, and it's well executed.
Characters: Didn't read much about them, but from what I've read so far, they are well written especially the MC Kayan. Great work.
    Overall: Great job.

I got hooked reading this. The world-building is really strong.
Style score is dinged because once or twice the way the world-building was shown felt a little in-your-facey. But overall, the writing was really smooth and digestible. Reading it was a very pleasant experience.
The story is really interesting. It's slow to get started but because we spend a lot of time with the characters at a young age, when things do kick off it really hits you hard. Not enough has happened up to where I am in reading where I could predict where the story will go, but I'm definitely enjoying the journey. There's a lot of political and cultural shenanigans going on, and the world feels rich.
Speaking of characters, I found the characters felt very well-rounded and believable. Even characters that are bullies are still sympathetic and understandable from their culture and viewpoint. None of the characters were flat or one-note.
I could find no issues with the grammar on a normal read-through. Aly does do a good job of editing when mistakes are spotted though, which is a great sign for the story.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend The Parvenu! It made me feel things. I ended up reading more than I thought I would every time I sat down for it, and I look forward to reading more!

I feel like I should be rating this lower than I am but Kayin's story is so good!
Style: I love the author's style in this story; it really fits well with the vibe and flows very well. I admit that I wasn't entirely hooked in the beginning but as I continued I felt the style really match the tone which leads me to give this a high style score.
Story: The story feels well thought out and the author knows what they want to do. Book 1 was really enjoyable in that it gave us a good introduction to Kayin and other possible recurring characters. The reason why I take one star off is because I just wish that the author spent more time on plot points. He has some tragic things going on and I just felt Kayin did not handle it that naturally. What I mean is that I feel like some of the more important events should still be referenced in later chapters to add emphasis of its importance. However, I'd rather it be less referenced than referenced too much because then it would take away from the momentum of the story. For example, SPOILERS
I felt that the death of Kayin's aunt should have been a major thing that Kayin would be dealing with for the rest of the book. This woman was his only parent but somehow that role went to this woman's killer? I may have not understood this correctly but other events in the book don't seem to result in the proper reactions of Kayin.
Grammar: Full stars- seems perfect to me, even in the latest chapters. Only time I saw an error was in the author's note dealing with the small vs little usage, but I don't think thats fair to count that.
Character: This is my most favorite part of the book! The author easily conveid Kayin's emotions to the audience and I became quickly invested in Kayin. I feel people can easily sympathize with this poor guy and hate those who wrong him. In terms of complexity of characters, I would say that most of the characters feel 2 dimensional and realistic. The interactions seem real, and the author brings the dialogue to li
