- FlicsmoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Only four chapters in so there's not a lot to be said yet - it'd be faster just to read the chapters than read a full review on them - but it's definitely a story to follow. Interesting worldbuilding, the characters feel distinct and realistic, and the setup is very unique. The first couple chapters are a bit disorienting with all the different terms and in-universe references, but it's feeling more grounded now that we're settling in with the characters a bit, so don't get scared off by the prologue.
The author has proven themself skilled at creating a fantastic story with their previous novel The Last Human, and so far there's no reason to think this will be any different. I highly recommend keeping an eye on this one to anyone who enjoys fantasy/sci-fi adventure.
