Wheelchair-bound and terminally ill, Clover wanted nothing more than to live a normal life. However, fate had other plans for him. On the worst night of his life, the System violently appeared, scrambling the Earth's geography and creating hordes of monsters.
Amidst the chaos, he now has only one goal: Raise his Level high enough to fix and cure all the problems his failing body was plagued with.
There's only one problem with his grand plan: How is a skinny guy in a wheelchair supposed to slay dragons and win sword fights?

It's a great novel so far with a lot of tiny interesting details huddled on the edges and if brought together just right this could go from good to down right amazing. Mc is likeable, yet flawed (no blame, everyone is flawed and Mc has a story). So yeah. Why you reading this? Go read the novel, or else a bone rat is gonna nibble your ears or something. - NotABee-chRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's got a wheelchair bound guy using magic, while commanding gollum's to fight against giant hordes of rats, count me in! In all seriousness, I hope the author recovers and doesn't suddenly die.
Best of luck,

Nothing to criticize, I'm the type to enjoy the slow reads. Plus I find the hint of Golemancy for a wheelchair bound human to fit well; either a golem wheelchair or even a suit that allows him to walk properly inserted into my mind when I saw all that.
- Astral464Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a really good apocalypse system novel and it seems the author has put thought into what the MCs future class could be.
The author has made no spelling or grammar mistakes so far and actually knows how to write in a POV and not switch every paragraph.
It's will probably end up as one of my favourite novels on this site.
- IsekaitisRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is interesting, in a way I cant really explain.
The main character is an underdog, who tries hard to improve his situation, but not just from one moment to the other, it happens gradually.
The magic system could be mistaken as being bog-standard, but it really isn't. There is a system sure, but the magic in itself is more freeform, and weird, crazy, scary. Its really interesting.
If you like a main character who doesn't just excel at everything immediately, but struggles, for power ofcourse, but also for basic survival, this is a story to read. - outoftime10Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5The book itself is good, with decent characters. A simple but interesting story with a solid motivation for the main character to get stronger.
The POV is mostly from the main character so we have not experienced a lot of the rest of the world yet.
But I hope the writer continues to improve in the future and he fleshes this out to be an enjoyable story. - Excal04Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5Most post-apocalyptic stories don’t usually focus much on the emotions, experiences and the life of a disabled or those on the death’s door making this a unique story in its own right.
No OP MC(so far), things are real, simple and engaging.
MC wakes up after the system comes into picture amidst chaos and tries to get accustomed to the change considering it could be his only option of actual survival since he could get over his illness, killing monsters and surviving a by-product of which. - MusicManRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This is the story of a dude in a wheelchair who sees an opportunity to change things.
It's got a decent system, there's a lot there that I like in the setting, and the main character is captivating. I love the idea of someone who has nothing to lose, who has these weaknesses they have to overcome, and I am curious how Clover will manage this.
However, I admit that the writing isn't as good as I would like. It's serviceable, but it's holding back the rest of the story.
Dr White's decision to kill for levels, for example, is a major moral and ethical issue especially for a doctor, but the way it was written made it feel very flippant and not very heavy. I commend the author for what they're trying to do...it just feels hollow and not very justified in the text. That could be an entire chapter or two just delving into his psyche.
The motivations of the characters in general seem very expository, and the dialogue coud also use some work. Clover has a literal deadline to get stronger, but the tension isn't there. The urgency is told to us, but it doesn't land for me.
The setting itself is pretty standard for the genre, but it's too early to say if it'll grow into a well-developed world.
The characters are nuanced, and I like what the intention is behind them.
The grammar is pretty good, caught a few here or there but it's readable.
So yeah, this has potential, and the author should keep it up! - ArchetypeRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I read a lot on this site, so I feel I can say that when a litRPGs unfolding is fun to read about, then it is likely so.
I don't even really know what it is about it. There doesn't seem to be anything groundbreaking about the story. For all that the golem system is neat so far. Maybe it's just that the writer doesn't try too hard. It's just a story. Easy reading. Good pace. Good progression. Not too little. Not to much.
The writer is definitely doing something right in any case. In my humble opinion.
