The year is 2045, humanity is plagued by an enemy thought only to exist in old text and folk tales. Demons pierce the fabric of reality itself to invade earth and consume everything and everyone they can get their hands on. But somehow the demons brought magic with them to our world in the form of a video game like system. Now the defenders of humanity, commonly known as just 'defenders' use this magic system to stand as humanity's shield against the dark tide from beyond our world. Lucy always admired the defenders, and hated demons, like everyone else alive today. She never though she would have magic access and be able to stand as a defender of humanity. But when a supposedly normal day goes awry and Lucy gets attacked by a demon, that's exactly what she gets. It's just that it comes with a few complications, like being turned into some new form of demon. Now Lucy has to learn how to use her new powers and assume the role that is expected of her. All this while trying to live a somewhat normal life, and trying to hide the fact she is a demon now.

This is my first advanced review ever but i gotta say its absolutely deserved for this gem of a story. Its well written, thought out and doesn't dip or waver in quality in any of the chapters I've read so far. Please read it, I can promise that it doesn't deserved to be so poorly recognized.
Style: 5/5 The story is seen through a teenage girl, with all the angst, grumbling and sass that comes with relying on such a narrator, and its very convincing, I absolutely adore how well crafted the thought process seems to be.
Story: 5/5 It's a wonderful twist on the usual format of a world introduced to magic and demons, where we aren't seeing the world from someone who wants to be a hero or wants to gain power and respect, but of a young woman reacting to the bullshit of life.
Character: 5/5 The main character, Lucy, is the closest representation to an actual teenager in most of the stories I've read, does she immediately act out in violence once she gets an iota of power? No, she mostly grumbles about how she was this close to knocking someone's teeth in. Does she immediately recognize that shes capable of helping people if she does everything right and magically do it all like some sort of genius? No, she screams, runs away, defends herself and when she's safe from danger cries about the horrors she's seeing because she's 17.
Grammer: 4.5/5 Its well written, very few spelling errors and generally has no formatting issues. There are of course some slip-ups but they aren't immersion breaking.
If you got down this far, thank you for reading, I absolutely love this story and i hope more people will as well. This does not deserve the lack of attention it has gotten.

This is a great story so far. One part litrpg, one part superhero story, one part oops-ima-demon. Also some school highjinks. Hits most of my favorite memes. Good grammar punctuation. Has all my favorite letters, both capital and lower case. I am not a writer because getting to 50 words is hard.
