Really good story so far.  A really immersive world. Can’t wait to see where it goes.
There is a lot going on.  It would be nice if there was a wiki or something for all the races, governments, weapons, etc., so I don’t have to keep chapters from the first book open.

Been following the story since I discovered it on HFY Reddit. I actually created this account on RR just to leave this review. The content is well researched, the story phenomenal and not to far out there in realms of Sci-fi stories. My one and only gripe is that this was originally released as a serial so I had to wait for the chapters!!!
To the amazing wordsmith ItsDirector, please keep producing your awesome content.

The New Species was very well written and this new series follows perfectly.
I haven't read a chapter that felt like filler or irrelevant, the story flows and the characters are engaging. The battles continue and the mystery along with it.
A true pleasure to follow this story (and author).

You can start this book as a stand alone, but I strongly recommend to read "The New Species" first.
If you did read the first book (The New Species), read this book is mandatory ;)
Having said that, this sequel is in the pure spirit of the first book (The New Species), laughters, actions, different point of views, and roller-coasters are at the rendezvous like in the first book.
I would love to see these two books adapted to cinema (with the Author having a full control over the story), that would be visually absolutely stunning and grandiose, all characters are interesting, even the enemies, yes; you read well even the enemies are interesting. It's a true universe of its own.

Not all hfy stories need to be about or exclusively about epic military battles, though there are space for those too . That's probably what I like most about this.
I very much enjoy how this book generally tells the tales, while being a bit educational as well, and still fits in the world building and hfy side of things. I also like how it shows. Not all might is military might in their Galaxy.
What? I most dislike about the story is that it appears to not be finished... Someday, I hope the author comes back and shares more as it left on a inconclusive spot in the storyline of the third Arc.
